I was told that the application has been rejected. But I can appeal so they will take a re-look. Hopefully they will grant approval

Yep. True on the 2nd part. I got rejected once by Citibank and they say it's their policy and they will never share the reason why they reject

I called PB CS and was told my application for Quantum is still processing since last week...

Today CIMB (my payroll account) called to offer CIMB CB Platinum & will send the card directly once I acknowledged, and I ask to call me in the evening.

My question is if I accept CIMB's offer, will my application with PB get affected in any way?

The guy I spoke to at PBB says he would put in an appeal for me and that I needed do nothing. At least it wasn't an outright no and you are right, they would not tell you why. Just said it was the management.

Once statement out, CB also instantly credit to account. my statement date is 25th, so my cb is reflected on 25th also.

Finally, I’ve received the long awaited 3 cards. So I activated VS & QM and requested to cancel QV. I checked with CS regarding the possibility of spending certain amount to offset the service tax. The answer is NO. My statement date is 22nd, at least I still able to get the CB for June.

can request to cancel one meh? I tot QV & QM come tgt..and we have to keep both or cancel both.
