QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Dec 2 2018, 11:57 PM) I try searching but not able to get a clear answer. statement month, congrats on your VS!For PBB VS, cash back is based on calendar date (just like MBB) or statement cycle (just like citibank)? Yet to complete any cycle yet so I would like to I know my statement date. Activated on 20 Nov. Thank you. |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Dec 2 2018, 11:57 PM) I try searching but not able to get a clear answer. Public bank CB statement is tons better than MBB. You can see each itemized CB transaction wheres MBB only the total per month. For PBB VS, cash back is based on calendar date (just like MBB) or statement cycle (just like citibank)? QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Dec 3 2018, 04:39 PM) erm i think Maybank calculate CB based on each transaction while Public Bank calculate by total. pbb also calculated cb per transaction level; which is why you can get lower spending amount to max out the cb.eg. RM30.5 + RM30.5 Maybank gives u RM1.52 + RM1.52 = RM3.04 while Public Bank gives you RM3.05 e.g. rm38 cb max for VS, spending can be as low as RM632.49 assuming all targeted for SN4M. if you lumpsum 6% x RM632.49, you only get RM37.95 cb. i prefer PBB's cb rounding (normal 2 decimal rounding up), rather than mbb's 2 decimal truncate. I just realised I spent less RM 17 to earn full cash back RM 38 for my VS. My statement cycle will due today, anything that I can pay and will be posted today? Online transactions only. Urgent and appreciate your advice.
I realised BP is T+1 so will be too late for me. I can't believe I made this blunder. |

Hi, has anybody missed payment due date for 2-3 days before? Just wondering if there's an unofficial "grace period" after due date, before late payment fee will be charged by PB?
For those who have supplementary card(s), is the credit limit the maximum chargeable limit on the card? My supp card's transactions kept being denied by PB at around 60-70% utilisation of the card's prescribed credit limit. |

Just wondering if there's an unofficial "grace period" after due date, before late payment fee will be charged by PB? T&C stated clearly how many days are given to you before they charged you any interest/fees, if PB willing to waive it then it's on their goodwill. No such thing as unofficial grace period. For those who have supplementary card(s), is the credit limit the maximum chargeable limit on the card? My supp card's transactions kept being denied by PB at around 60-70% utilisation of the card's prescribed credit limit. No problem with my supp. card at all. Your supp. card has a separate credit limit? Do you wave / used pin? PB has a limit on wave, for every 5 waves the next one has to used pin before you can wave again.
