Before convert, YES (depends on which merchant. Some nasty merchant like Shopee got little problem)
After convert, the monthly installment NO

Haha i did converted before but i saw latest FlexiPay promo (not under card feature) mentioned that cashback and
points are not entitled for FlexiPay plan. Thus want to double check anyone just converted your online purchase recently and still entitled cashback... (exclude the Shopee story)

Installment (ZIIP) and FlexiPay are two different.

ZIIP is installment done during POS. This is entitled to cash back.

FlexiPay is conversion into installment AFTER POS by contacting CS. This one is not entitled to cash back.

Anybody has experience converting your Quantum cards' retail purchase to 0% 12-month Flexi-payment (card feature) and still get the 5% cashback for the eligible transaction?

Example:

Spend RM1200 on Quantum MC on Online transaction then convert to flexi-payment, will this transaction still get 5% cashback for online category?

This FlexiPay are not the same as the card feature FlexiPay?

There will be no cash rebates, i.e. cash mega bonus / hibah performance bonus or reward points awarded for payment of purchases under this programme.

Yea, I think it was asked earlier. I got a bit confused whether the response was in relation to the Quantum card feature's flexi-pay or the ongoing flexi-pay promo (with interest).

Yea, i was referring to the Quantum card feature's flexi-pay. As confirmed by you earlier, the Quantum's flexi-pay will get cashback for eligible transaction, but NOT the separate promo flexi-pay. thumbsup.gif

Regardless of which FlexiPay (with interest or Quantum exclusive benefit), both items should not entitled to cash back.

The cash back I was referring if you're committing to installment plan called Zero Interest Installment Plan (ZIIP) DURING or AT point of sales, that monthly installment amount should entitle to monthly cash rebate.

Hope this clears the confusion

Mine is 11street 0% installment which mentioned last year.

Purchase an item with the installment available in 11street.
The monthly installment amount in statement is included in cash back category.

Monthly i spent
1) RM600
2) RM35.80 - 11street

The cash back column shows : RM635.80

i think the tnc never mention when we will get our rebate, hence to use the 1st statement date whereby the sst is charged as a benchmark, is to me, a quite reasonable timing to state our opinion, since the swipe is done before the statement cut off date, in fact 2 weeks earlier.

to be fair to consumer, or service user, if bank would charged sst almost instant with the moment we activate our card, why the same mechanism cannot apply on rebate when we swiped, and when posting is confirmed?

Seems pretty clear to me. I've only just learnt about this from your earlier posts. Now I know it's the monthly amount that qualifies in each month (as the charges come in) and not the total amount in the first month only. Thanks.

I've noticed that my total amount for the flexipay is added into the cashback entitled amount in the statement.

Isn't that what I had been saying since several posts up above?
Did I actually say anything wrong?
Why everybody is quoting me?
