I was among the early bird who applied here back when it was introduced. I didn't meet the 100k income requirement biggrin.gif

I tried applying when it was 100k requirement and failed so many times despite having achieved the salary requirement, only managed to approve last year. dry.gif
From RM 60 cash back to now RM 38 only approved... cry.gif

Hmm do you mind to clarify what has it to do with spending with BP?

I thought banks look at CCRIS mainly for two things.
1. How much commitment you have
2. Are your payments on time
*
Yeah, I am curious for the BP part.
My spending is a lot too, every month my CCRIS showing high outstanding amount but I cleared all. CCRIS only updated one month once for most of the banks, so the amount didn't reduce for me. laugh.gif

QUOTE(skty @ Jun 11 2019, 05:36 PM)
PBB detected you spent too much on makeups. hahahaha

in the e-CCRIS, 0 just mean you pay on time, doesn't mean you pay FULL on time.

so i think if your outstanding balance is high every month in CCRIS, I believe bank will think you might only pay the minimum amount and you are in big trouble of debt to other banks. So they might not want to take the risk with you even though your annual salary exceeded the requirement.

just my thought.
*
Maybe but not an issue for me now, I got all the cards I wanted. biggrin.gif
From the highest tier to the lowest tier. tongue.gif

1) wait for 1st statement is out first

2) email to CS, detailing the spending in partial-cycle (uncalculated cb) and full cycle (you only gotten cb for this).

btw, just got my VS and say the statement date is 28. but as far as i know, usually the first statement will be next month ie 28 july. any idea how to go about with the cashback, if it’s possible to request the first statement to be on 28 june? just want am idea before giving them a call
*
Just spend first before 28th. It's normal to have missing cash back this month, just follow above steps. I got my QMC cash back that way.

Means if I am looking for cashback, I should reload to bigpay then use bigpay to pay ptptn?
*
QUOTE(beebee1314 @ Jun 15 2019, 08:20 PM)
I'm not sure bigpay can pay ptptn or not. Never tried. I use monthly direct debit from my payroll bank when they give 10% discount. Now, once awhile I also pay extra using boost.

U can use search function in bigpay thread, see anyone did it or not. Since bigpay is a prepaid card, I can't advice u. Go to the correct thread and search for the correct answer.
*
BigPay can be used to pay PTPTN, used it a lot when I cleared the payment end of last year for 20% discount.

My amount too large. Haha can't afford to pay even with 12 months BT. Still got 20k. Have to slowly reap rewards from boost.
*
I had >50k when I cleared and with 20% discount was around 42k. laugh.gif That time worried if they implement mandatory salary deduction, the proposed chart showed I am at the highest bracket. So no thanks before another heart attack. sweat.gif

Hi, May i know Public Bank Infinite and Signature which is better? As Visa Signature got annual fees but visa infinite no annual fees, Is annual fees for visa signature waiveable? Is RM25 service tax waveable also?
*
VS in my opinion, AF can be easily waived with 12x usage per year.

SST is not waivable, it's to government but banks can give rebate. Talk to CS.

I have a PB VS which its May statement due date was on 29th May, but I forgot to pay, I paid on 31st May. I don't see the May cash rebate yet which I normally see on the next statement date which is 9th. Am I still getting it?
*
What did you spend on in May that posted in June statement?

Top up RM633.34 to BigPay

Rightfully, late payment has no effect to cash back, they are two different things. Suggest you to check with CS.

Does PBB call or SMS an application success?  Or you always have to find out yourself?
*
Will receive approval SMS. Use IVR feature to check status is the fastest, you will not receive rejection SMS though.

Rejection information comes via mail.
Been trying to get PBB card since 2016, applying every 6 months but without any success.

When was the last time you tried? I managed to get all approved (VS & Quantum) only in last year's Oct, after several tries. The last time I tried which successfully was using RinggitPlus.
No issue with salary requirement, fulfilled all this while. I'm sure yours too. Oh ya, all these years, I tried bank online application and also RP before.

how long normally for pbb cc approval? I think I applied mine like 1-2 weeks ago, until now no news.
Applied VS, already got Quantum..

Check with CS or IVR? Not sure status check via IVR will work for existing users but you can try.

Hi guys, i submitted my application exactly 2 weeks ago through branch and yesterday, i made a call to pbe IVR and the status i heard is pending documentation. But just now, i login my eccris to check on that, pbe cc application finally recorded under “application for credit” just that the status is “pending”.

It is considered approved? Thanks for anyone who got the same experience on this.
*
No. It's just your application is in the system only and whatever application will be shown on CCRIS.

Oh! Thanks for your info ya. So shall i wait for the sms then.

But then, i see the “pre-approved” CL is really out of my expectation!
*
The CL will be changed too once it's approved. Check via IVR is the fastest way, I did mine that way, checked in the morning, after lunch and after working hours for few days until I heard my application is approved. laugh.gif

It's like that all this while, just separate statement will do.

Hi guys. is PBB visa signature still have rebate for boost / bigpay?
*
For BigPay yes. Boost I didn't try because some Boost transactions have no OTP. No point risking for that, use BP to reload Boost will be better.
