I wonder why only residents from certain selected countries (mostly wealthy developed Western countries) are allowed to run fundraising campaign through the website?

Maybe residents from those countries are more civilized?

i think mainly because of there's no starter in malaysia.
for something to start, there must be someone/company that need to setup.

I think you're right, they need resources in order to expand. If you check the list of 19 supported countries, poor European country like Greece is also not included.
