Strictly speaking lah.....based on law, as long as your car colour differs from original manufacturer car colour which match with your registration card which match with your insurance policy, u oledi void your insurance and vehicle registration jor.....

But, as u said, small difference only.....so, it really depends on judgement of the officer and insurance lah......see whether they want to cari pasal with u or not....but, if your car no accident, no insurance claim, even u kena tahan police or jpj won't ask u show vehicle registration card right?

So, u decide lor, be a good boy, everything follow by book or u cut corner little bit coz the risk is very low

Im only worried about the insurance if gt accident..they always find the smallest details not to compensate you. But to be fair the colour that i want to wrap is stated as ' Satin White Aluminium' and my original car colour is already white. So if i am to declare the changes i would say im changing to white? lol

i ask my friend before, if you wrap, no hal even tho you didnt change your car registration color but if you paint and didnt change, then kena kacau by JPJ.

if wrap since it is not permanent, can tanggal anytime. they wont kacau much (based on my friend)

My experience: i used Oracle some more, wrap the roof top, after couple years unwrap, now the center part of my roof top is black color. The wrap paper color eat into my orginal car paint sad...

If someone tell you wrap car = protect paint = bs = it will damage the paint. Unless you park your car at basement carpark 24/7. Car wrap is for ppl that like to keep changing color of the car. Further, the wrap will start to fade once expose to hot sun and it cannot be restored like spray car paint with simple polish and wax.

if accident you lagi regret cause the car paint shop sifu will screw you gao gao, he need to remove the wrap in order to repair your car.

then you go do the wrap again for the damaged parts lagi regret once more time cause the new wrap color is different. It cannot be tuned or matched like normal respray sifu did for repairing paint.

think triple times my friend.

if not mistaken the color in registration only have basic ones

e.g. navy blue, midnight blue, twilight blue all = biru

if wanna change color, just paint and go jpj update your car info, it is just simple process.

if wrap it will give you more headache in the long run, my real life experience. unless you wanna change the color of your car every single year, then wrap make sense. Originally, wrap is for advertisement, short term usage.
