Hi, Me (Malaysian) and my partner (Foreigner) are planning to buy a property (above 1M) in KL. I will loan 50% while my partner will pay the rest. Is there any issue to have joint name in this case (Both name to own a property)? P/S: we are not married yet.

I suggest you marry first before buying property together especially if your partner will also take up a loan. Remember to draw up ownership rights.
