Any idea to transfer the owner of the mobile number without going to the maxis centre?
Due to the current owner is not here anymore~~

If this was possible. Do you know how many ppl will instantly terminate their e banking accounts. To transfer ownership, needs the finger print and nric of both persons

If prepaid, easiest way is let it expired then subscribe as postpaid to get back the number.

If postpaid, best if u go to maxis centre for further procedure. im sure they will allow transfer if u have all the available cert and proof of next of kin

i do know transfer the ownership need fingerprint and NRIC, but i only got the NRIC of both persons, fingerprint inside coffin.

i checked need at least 90days to expire, but need to use the number as alot customer already binded to the number..

not sure whether if i got the NRIC of the current owner is enough to transfer the number or not.

just keep on using lor.. what difference if its your name or other ppl name? just keep on reloading if its prepaid or keep paying monthly if postpaid...

problem is want to change plan cannot change, current plan damn sucks RM150/month 10GB data unlimited voice call. This one is ancient plan, didnt upgrade to match current existing plan. Pain in the ass

Er.....I thought once the person died, the NRIC will be return to JPN and replaced with death cert. I suggest u go to Maxis center, bring along the death cert and proof of your relationship with the deceased, ask to transfer the number to you.

errr postpaid or prepaid? iinm prepaid can change plan via SMS or use Hotlink App.

if owner is dead, bring death cert and police report for transfer
