I flew to london b4 on Mas on their a380 last time. Experience was good.
But nowadays u would be a fool to fly Mas. They cut costs in many areas. I believe this guy. Alot of experienced staff have left the airline. They cut costs on the economy food. My omelett was no where like what he shown in the video. Basically they cut costs on everything. He was not even asking for unlimited alcohol or something. It was his IFE that was spoilt. 14 hours without IFE is a torture. And they probably cud not change his seat due to it being a full flight. So yea i rather fly Airasia or some other airline. No way gonna waste money on MAS. |

I still cannot brain how anyone can say aa is "better".....by definition, aa has less leg room, no food, no ife, and need to pay for everything....and often not much cheaper.....
I suspect it's the expectation..... somehow being "low cost" lowers expectation....and the opposite for full service airlines.... torture to fly XX hrs without ife....but ok with aa..... |

This dude was so disappoint because he previous flight from Manila to KL was awesome experience. The true MH slogan. he was flying economy as well, but cabin purse knowing him was shooting video, cabin purse offer him champagne & beer and showing him benefit of MAS business class.
After transit at KLIA, his next flight to London was on high expectation + new A350. He start to put on twitter after several hours of being ignore by cabin crew without any solution on his IFE. If economy class was full, cabin crew can told him upgrade to premium economy class with some additional charges or remain at economy with faulty IFE due to economy class was full.
