Hello,

I have a Maxis 017 number and it has recently expired. sad.gif I would appreciate if anyone can help to reactivate the expired number. icon_question.gif

Really?? but i don't use much cause this number is used by my mum.

yeah they asked me sign for postpaid to get it back, if not you will have to wait for the number to recycle as prepaid again

I don't think they will tell you...as the prepaid number are sent to dealers. My friend once told me it takes like 6months for it to be recycled

Even if they tell me, I don't think they will know which dealer to get the number. sad.gif

Low cost way,you can try by signing up hotlink flex since it's maxis postpaid too

It depends on the number.. mine had to sign on a 188 plan to get it back

Wow! That's out of my budget really... Last time I thought they are able to reactivate the number?

im not sure if they could, but i think that if your number is special then it will drop into the highest postpaid plan. i have another which requires me to sign a 98 plan, although it only expired less than 24hours.

Even if rm98 per month is too expensive. sad.gif Can Hotlink Flex get the number back?

no harm trying, walk in to their service centre and they can check it out for you. but for my case, they didnt offer to me using hotlink flex mega_shok.gif

Ya, I think I would walk in to maxis service centre and try. Really hope can get back the number without have to spend a lot.

just to update:

I can get the number back HOWEVER under postpaid service and needs to locks with MaxisONE plan 158 for 24 months.

that's so much ridiculous I must say!

Is there any other way I could get the number back with only prepaid plan? RM158 X 24 = RM 3792 not including tax! sad.gif

When YB Gobind Singh look into broadband, I think he would also need to look into such matter!
