QUOTE(kmarc @ Jun 8 2007, 10:05 AM) Why not? Instead of a laptop, maybe it can become a high-powered palmtop/pocket pc..... Can't remember who but some people would want to use that as a mobile "folding" computer!!! Okay, so where do you get the display ? I suppose maybe you can find a small USB trackball, but they're not easy to find. That's a laptop HD connector right ? and there's one USB. Main thing is how you connect the display. If you can find a small LCD screen, and can connect it, then maybe. This post has been edited by wodenus: Jun 8 2007, 11:21 AM |

i think this one is very suitable for future PDA which need a less power consumption, faster and more powerful processor.

You can get one from nearly any place that stocks Molex or Amphenol. Mouser.com, Digikey.com and Newark.com is that way --> |

Runs of AA or 9V batteries? I'm impressed! Looks like they gonna make it into a cheap small scale laptop or a PDA.

QUOTE(wodenus @ Jun 10 2007, 09:41 AM) Okay, where does the HD go then ? or does this thing run off flash ? have to admit it's starting to look interesting, but still, where toi connect the HD ? There are tons of connector adapters out there. Ever seen an IDE or SATA connector on a mobile motherboard? Yeap. Samething. They probably just used a ribbon connector in an ultra flat small pin format. Just like how IDE MINI can converted to IDE standard, it's not like form factor is an issue as long as signalling rules are the same. |
