they did not give me any chinese test as well. one of the interviewers just checked my spm, i took chinese and they say oh good. thats all =/ .they told me there is language allowance but i wonder when will i sit for the mandarin test? One of their weaknesses is, the way the deal with email is very inefficient. they are hiring quite a large number of ppl i suppose.

QUOTE(Soul-Acid @ Oct 24 2010, 08:07 PM) Hey guys n gals, Hi there. First of all, HSS and GBM is not call centre job. Call centre job solely focus on answering call. eg,singapore tele banking department. for back end process, it consist of trades and settlement, ctla, corporate action etc. language allowance can be up to rm300-400 if you work in the call centre if u can speak mandarin/canto/eng etc. max salary around rm2400. for other department , some only get rm100 as language allowance so total salary will be slightly lower then call centre's. Working environment is good. work hard and play hard at the same time. I've got a few queries. For those who are currently working at Cyberjaya HSBC back-end banking operations (HSS and GBM), what exactly do you guys do? I've looked at the job description provided but it still is not clear to me. Would it be considered a call-centre job of some sort? Also for the remuneration, if I can only speak two languages, none of which is Mandarin and Cantonese, what would be the maximum salary I'm entitled to? Last but not least, how's the working environment? Thanks QUOTE(brella @ Oct 25 2010, 01:48 PM) i went for the interview for global support exe on 14th oct and i passed all the interview ( HR and manager ) and the HR told me tht they will email me for the med check up , and she told me tht i hv to come to hsbc cyber on 27th to take the offer letter and will start working on 28th oct , but the problem is , i didnt received any email or any phone call from HR regarding the med check up , already called hsbc but the person who answered the my called told me she will call me back . just curious , did i really get the job ? should i come to hsbc to takde the offer letter on 27th oct ? if so , at what time should i come ? pls help me , im clueless now I would say, thats normal |

shirts with collar is more preferable. at least some non-lala/semi-professional look.
