hi..i'm new here.i would like to ask whether we could get the confirmation on which shift that we have to work before signing the offer letter. in my case, i have agreed to work in UK shift but suddenly the HR said that there is no vcancy. so might be placed in US shift. it is a very bad news for me.

yes of course u have the rights to know. although the HR there is not helpful, u may ask the US department manager.

is it ethical for me to call or walk-in to ask the UK manager before signing the offer letter..i already called th HR but they suggest to refer to my contact person..but the problem is the contact person does not have the descriptin on the shift matter and blamed me for not making the confirmation during the 2nd interview..
