Hi everyone, I want to ask did anyone get hired from hsbc recently? I went for interview on 11 jan 2016 for financial crime comp exec. On 1st feb hsbc ask me to fill up form for background checking, on 15 feb they ask for my certificate of employment of previous job. I have reply & untill now no news.. i call 0383152366 to ask my status n she just says congrats bcoz i passed all assesment+interview n ask me to wait for hsbc to call or email. Actually how long employment processing time for hsbc to hire staff? Is it normal 2 to 3 month😓

QUOTE(lilfire @ Mar 3 2016, 01:04 AM) If they havent hire you they will not inform you. They will just not hire you XD If you already with the bank then yes they will when they terminated the person. Failed bg check sure kena terminated one. This is the bank policy. Tq lilfire☺ My application was unsuccessful.

QUOTE(Berus Wine @ Mar 3 2016, 02:06 PM) That's unfortunate. Passed all interview but flunked bg check. Did you have any bad ccris records? Or maybe in your previous employment you have been reported by employers to industrial court for unlawful resignation, cbt etc? Hi berus wine.. Actually im work with local bank at branch level. I dont get any idea which part im failed bcoz dis morning i checked my hsbc taleo profile n its mentioned my job application status is unsuccessful. Fyi i dont have any unlawful resignation or ccris record😐 This post has been edited by Firmint85: Mar 3 2016, 03:45 PM

QUOTE(lilfire @ Mar 3 2016, 05:30 PM) Then maybe not bg check or not your problem la? Not all interview failed bcoz of candidates problem ma. Might be the bank side leh? If you confirmed it is not unlawful resignation or ccris record then you can totally feel free to drop them an email and ask. Just ask them that even though there is no opportunity to work with them, however, you appreciated the interview session or anything first. Then you ask is it possible to advise the feedback on your area of development so that you can polish and improve yourself. But not guarantee if they will come back to you la. Hi lilfire.. Thanks alot for ur kind advice. Actually i heard hsbc now in hiring frozen. Maybe they cutting down cost to hire new employee or my exp is not enough to work at dis IB huhu.. No worries, its ok..thank god i still have work to do or maybe i can try again after 6 mnth☺

The last intake is on 28 april. Maybe the remain successful candidate will kiv to replace resign staff when needed. This post has been edited by Firmint85: Apr 30 2016, 10:13 PM
