QUOTE(babi456 @ Aug 19 2007, 01:09 PM) Wat paper?? The Star?? I'm not sure dude but i'm desperate. Can I please know the job scope?Added on August 19, 2007, 1:11 pm Are you sure you wanna join ? They have interviews everyday. At least 20 candidates per day. The trainers work non-stop. Orientation is on everyday... The L & D (Learning & Development) staff cannot even take a single day off.. totally cannot take annual leave. So what can u say about their turn over rate? |

QUOTE(babi456 @ Aug 22 2007, 12:46 AM) To choose a correct dept is your priority. To change dept or to have yourself for promotion, the minimum requirement is after 1 year of service. So U must choose carefully.. But if you are a chinese & you can speak chinese, you will most properly end up in taiwan call centre or now I think they have Hong Kong Call Centre oso. It is not easy to survive in call centre. Some cannot tahan the trainer (during training) will wait for the salary & leave... Some plan to try for 1 - 2 months, if beh tahan oso will also leave.. So those who stay are the excellent staff... U can learn a lot of stuff from them. The culture in HDPM is good. It is a great place to work if like it. But do bear in mind that, U work for 9 hrs a day (IN between u got 15 min break X 2 + 1 hr lunch break). The time u spend on the bus could be 2-3 hrs a day. Meaning ... U spend half of your day here. So when u get home, u have no more personal time. Unless U stay near lah.. so no problem... Try to negotiate a good pay that u wont regret.... & Good Luck!!! well, im not chinese and cant speak mandarin/cantonese. And i'm going for the back end job cos i feel i'll be more comfortable there. Plus, for back end i have the option to work in KL (in Bursa KL building). But thanks for your advice dude. I might need more soon. I've already submitted my resume but stil waiting for interview. |

Yes correct. I was there too. After the English assessment I was interviewed by someone from HR
I then had to do a written assessment cos they were considering me for some back end position (which I requested). Once I finished that, I was interviewed by the manager of the dept I am being considered for. All in all, it took 3 and half hours. |

QUOTE(stanum @ Jul 25 2011, 05:57 PM) If its true, they why after the test there is no interview like you absentee? my fiancee only there for about half and hour and then going back home. I'm just worried if she's not fit for the position. Did they ask her to leave? Bcos from what I observe only those who failed the test were asked to leave. Someone even requested to retake the test but was told to go home. But, I also met ppl who were called back for interview after one month. |

So i just got the call from HR. Went for interview yesterday, got the call today for a backend position.
Anyone can clarify for me, for UK backend are there any allowance provided? I was told there will be allowance but the manager didnt mention any when i asked her. This is a setback for me. |

QUOTE(Coozy @ Jul 26 2011, 05:15 PM) Hey guys, after a grueling 8 hour interview process. However, most of the time were mostly wasted by waiting anyway, I got the call from HR and got the job. Anyone else got the call today? Btw, this is for the global support executive position. Dont know about the backend positions though. :/ Backend is also GSE my friend. I got the call today too. Are u gonna be servicing UK too? |

QUOTE(sanc @ Jul 27 2011, 07:23 PM) There are no allowances for UK backend as far as I know. I think only call centre gets allowances here. Yeah I think u got it spot on. GBM is global banking/markets. General banking sounds like general processing. Correct me if I'm wrong. During interviews with your future manager, always ask which dpt you're going into, or at least know the name/title of the team you will be joining. Global support exec covers everything. It's not a specific dpt, so pls make sure where you'll be placed before you join. For those waiting for acceptance, please don't wait more than 2 weeks after your final interview with the manager. Just call or email the HR rep who liased with you after your assessment. Hiring process: 1. Phone interview 2. Assessment - english test done on computer 3. HR interview 4. Manager interview |

Can anyone advise the correct procedure to decline offer once the offer letter is already signed. My induction is in 2 weeks. Reason to decline - received another offer.
