Personally i dont suggest to join HDPM, it is lowest rank across HSBC entities. It will be very difficult for you to be visible. You might be seeing other people saying that 'if you are performing good, you can get absorb to HBMY or send to other country bla bla bla'. But to tell you the truth, HSBC is very unlikely absorbing people from 1 entity to the other entity.

Good luck. 2.2k is damn low nowadays. Even local company can give up to 3k

Welcome. Just a reminder, you are not really joining a 'bank'. Both GLT and HDPM are like 'vendor' to HBMY, but HSBC is very smart in packaging to make you feel like you are joining a 'global bank'. From what i understand

GLT -> more to technical side e.g programming, software development, testing, etc
HDPM -> more to function e.g call center, project management, BA, Misc support

At the end of the day, both are supporting people from HBMY. You get the big idea now?

ya. I get it. Thanks a lot for that. And even the remuneration packege doesn't look so "bank".lol. Just hoping I wont miss any good chance to kick start my career as a fresh grad. smile.gif As I read through, there are two types of response over HDPM either good or really bad.

agree to disagree. while it's true that they are "vendor" to the bank, but don't forget other MNC are also moving to this direction. i.e StandardChart, Hp/Shell.

But let us focus on the career and knowledge that you will pick up during you working life and the pay is important as well.

Of course if your desire to work in a bank bank, there's plenty of jobs for u example accounting, sales etc. If your major is in IT, welcome to GLT.

I know. Last time when attended iv had to park in Dpulze and walk there. That's why I prefer work shift less headache no need to think about jam and parking.
