Dear parents,
Has anyone of you taken the NIPT test for baby's health checker & gender and then it didn't turn out as per results?
Eg, result said boy, but on screen and ultrasound (detailed scanning) said it's a baby girl?
Just curious any cases like this before
I can simply look up online sites and get feedbacks but those sites are all online marketing sites. They'll tell you what you want to hear.
I hope to get personal experience or friends or family who have experience this situation.
Thank u in advance
NIPT is quite accurate because it reads the gender on chromosomal level rather than the outside appearance. I'd trust NIPT than detailed scan. Has anyone of you taken the NIPT test for baby's health checker & gender and then it didn't turn out as per results?

But then, it's possible (although very very rarely) for a person to be a male on DNA level but a female on appearance due to certain gene defect. Would you rather that person be a boy or a girl?
