Hi guys,

Got this problem with my 360 HDD. When i use a test pen to touch the chrome surface on the side of the HDD, the bulb inside lights up shocking.gif

Does anyone have this problem with their 360 HDD? FYI, this is my 2nd 360 set (I just got it as replacement for my 1st set which kena 3ROD), and both also had this problem cry.gif

How did I found out.... well i kena electric shock when i accidentaly touch the chrome surface.

Report this to Microsoft, and CC to CNN, BBC, whatever news network you know.  tongue.gif
Must take some screenshot as well, then see if they will replace you a new model

Will try to capture some photo tomorrow.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the feedback. Seemed like I'm not the only one having this "problem" sweat.gif

I've unplugged everything except the AV cable still connected to the TV, and the leakage is still there. Therefore, I can confirm that it leaked from the AV port on the TV. Tested 2 TVs also giving same problem. Btw, the TVs have 2 pin plugs instead of 3.

Any suggestions? Or else gotta live with it haha tongue.gif

Plugged to LCD monitor using VGA cable instead of the composite cable. No more electric shock... nod.gif So can confirm the leakage came from TV's AV output. Time to buy a bigger LCD monitor whistling.gif haha
