hye, i plan to buy 360 this week , i have  this lcd tft monitor philips 170c6, the monitor boxes(lost the manual, huhu) say sxga 1280x1024 resolution.. can i use the 360 vga cable with my monitor??? what is it mean sxga?? is it same as vga??

i think he meant not Widescreen. I've played Gears of War using my Dell 24 inch widescreen monitor and using my Viewsonic 17inch monitor. I feel it is more satisfying to play using widescreen monitor since i believe most games are developed to be played on widescreen mode. But if you do not have any other option, playing using normal mode isn't that bad.

owhh... can i still play in wide screenmode? i dont mind the black area(up and down on the screen, like movie)
