okay guys thanks alot.. one more question how can i play x360 on my windows xp? what i mean is i can surf the web on xp and play game at same time on same monitor? what cable do i need?

LCD monitors nowadays usually can accept 2 or more inputs - VGA, DVI, S Video, Composite and Component. So in order to use your computer and at the same time playing your game on xbox, your monitor has to have at least VGA and DVI connection. xbox goes to VGA, and pc to DVI. then you can just select which inputs your monitor should display.

i used to play xbox 360 on my Dell 24 inch but every time someone sent me a pm on MSN messenger or YM, i have to switch the input back and forth. can be a bit tiring to do that.

Dunno la. Maybe I got "golden eyes" or something. I've seen two 3rd party cables and it is just plain lousy.

Trust me man...if you do an actual test comparison (swapping cables), you will definitely see the difference!

Don't know now if the 3rd party cables are of higher quality, but hey...its not like the ori cables were that expensive to begin with...and come on...one game is RM169...ori cable is even cheaper than that!

Same here. They looked fine on CRT when you run on lower resolutions, but once you push it up to HD, boom, ghosting everywhere.

Swapped them to original cable, problem disappear.

I know this does not affect all 3rd party cables in the market, but to be safe, just stick with the original cable.

it depends on the cables itself and your monitor as well.

for example if you screen are too small (let say 17 inch) you can't see any differents. but for those who are above 20" people are starting to see the differents.

and yes there is a different third party and original cable.

original cable shielding are better.

well my take on this is
on my benq fp241w inch composite its just fantastic at 1080p
and at vga 1080p ... colour is not washed out but its not as sharp as composite.

on my pioneer pdp42xg plasma however again composite rules but limited to 1080i for composite, 768p for vga and only at hdmi i can get 1080 p.

so for now the benq rocks on composite.

Thats for sure, however just don't cross the vga cable wif other cable can help to improve the interference.
