According to many reviews... IXUS 900 imaging quality is average only... Plus it is slow during capturing pic... Not really Worth buying... Plus 10mp is such a small ccd, surely the pic quality wont b as nice although it is 10 mp... Will have lotsa noise too rclxub.gif

IS indicates image stabiliser. Ti is chemistry name for Titanium.

So, 850IS have image stabiliser while 900Ti is made of titanium. Make sense isn't it? laugh.gif

Don't be confused by the larger number of 900Ti. It is not a newer model replacing 850IS. So, 850IS is still a better buy. Wide angle+IS! laugh.gif

Wow...Thanks guys..that is so helpful.
I just realized that one of my friend owned the 800 IS..well i think its almost the same with 850 IS is it?
Nway..the 800 IS is impressive to me. So 850 IS is more better i guess..
How about the Powershot series?...
Should i consider it too?
What makes the Powershot series differ from IXUS series?
