Just newbie wanted to train his drum skills with a real set of drum....... budget is below 1k..... Any recommendation???

well, u can try cash converters, lots of good drum set there.

try get a 2nd hand TAMA Swingstar, or if youre js beginner, look for Pearl Rythm traveller, new set only cost about RM800-1.2k, sry the gap too big but the price shud be around there. But the size is kinda kecil lar, cause its a traveller set.

Harmony Music in Damansara Utama also deals with Pearl Drums.

There's one in bandar sunway next to taylors college. Its next to the Penang bridge and there's one in Ampang but I'm not so sure where's that located.

hmm, here goes another budget drum thread again. lol.

cash converters, 1 in kelana jaya, from the bridge towards kuantan, its on your left side in shoplots there. dono which one but if you slow down, you can turn left after u saw the shop.

in ampang, its near ampang point, near habib shoplot there. but they rarely have drum sets for sale. u can try your luck tho.

and if you are looking for pawn show, buy sell trade also might have drumkits for sale. there is one in newtown pj, one in melawati, and one in ampang. but same as cash converters, they rarely have drumkit for sale. but again, you can try your luck there.

my recommendation is to go to js music. go for pdp easy series. priced at 1250, which is slightly higher but worth it. i wont suggest any kit lower than that.

try to get second hand la. I know one friend who got his drumset from a church less than RM500

cash converter is a a pawn shop right? you sell them things you don't want, and they will sell it to the public. there's one near ampang point, you can actually get some decent stuffs there.

They sell drum stuff? I never heard of them but sounds interesting can get cheap stufff there
