Ya lor, as low as 2.3k during 11.11. initially wanted to buy p20 pro, then changed my mind to note 9 due to the steep price drop!

reason seller sell below cost price

1) TELCO SET. - beware u may get sim lock later
2) preactive set. - seller pre active the warranty of handset to hit their monthly target
3) demo set .

Use snapdrsgon in US and China because their system is CDMA . Qualcomm hold somekind of patent on them, so no choice must use.

No need to scare people away from physical shop.

Have bought a dozen phone online. Just use common sense and read the offering carefully and so far, so good. All local set and preactive is still OK because the local manufacturer still fully warranty it.

Many reasons for that and not uncommon for any phone. Most likely some apps went rogue after update. Either clear the cache or do a factory rest.

Many people shy away from factory reset but once you get the hang of it, not a big deal. Try Samsung's Smart Switch. Backup everything onto your computer and then restore back.

Phone arrive and you did nothing. Found seal opened already. Check warranty with manufacturer, confirmed original and already registered.

Don't know what that is call but pre-active sound as good a description as any.

This is nothing so called pre-active. Bought several phone online. You found online cheaper because the seller open the box and claim the benefit from it. Dont ask me what is the benefit, i dont know because the seller dont want to tell me. That is why they must open the box, and register for you to claim the benefit.

good la for consumers that haven't bought it yet, now's a good chance to buy.

AFAIK, the benefit advertised by Samsung are all there even though the box are unsealed. So whatever other benefit is between the seller and Samsung and you can't have it anyway.

Benefits that I am concerned and available to me are the 2 years warranty. 1st year broken screen. If broken seal means cheaper price, I consider that acceptable.

My guess is, it some sort of sales volume entitlement. You sold certain number of units, you get extra dealer rebate etc.

Will wait for Note 9 to drop further after S9 launch before buying as I think it's quite an epic model already which can be utilize for another 3-years or more; still having my Note 4 now without much issues other than some lagging with some apps

My note 3 already 4.5 years. Still strong but note 9 is very tempting

Note 9 the way to go when I upgrade from my Note 4 but shop price still RM3,500+, where got price drop as mentioned

lazada and shopee 99% RM2700... go shop of course RM3500 la...

But make sure u found the good seller with almost perfect review one. Review must be >30 at least.
