Actually, the area where i consider to be the "center" is Bandar Utama/ Damansara Perdana/ Damansara Uptown as I stay very near there and all my social activities/friends/family are there. That's why Elmina is more attractive to me than Semenyih. I will still be going to the "center" after i stop work. If i have budget, i will buy in PJ area but now i think i will need at least 1 mil to 1.5 mil to get a landed freehold there (inclusive renovation costs). For new projects Elmina seems to be the best choice. However now wife having second thoughts...

BTW I hope i am not being offensive here but does anyone know what is the racial make up of Elmina Gardens residents? I know about the 50% bumi quota but since it is freehold, bumi buyers can sell to non-bumis so the racial make up can change...

Apparently the only type available for the new release is 3BR with no BR downstairs. The most expensive units with BR downstairs are still available last i checked. Close to 900k above.

Hi, planning to purchase EG 1 here, considering the price for 20x70 landed is reasonable. Not quite familiar with the area. As far as i understand EG1 is the furthest away from the centre of Elmina. Does the distance affect getting to nearby commercial areas/amenities ? It seems saujana utama covers some of the shoplots/restaurant etc.
