-HI,how much the ROM n RAM will be increase after we flash it?

its depend which ROM you are flashing. clean ROM which doesnt have all the default application like mobile office , abd reader , some even doesnt have media player then you can get around 60MB. But this kind of ROM is meant for advance user who can customise their applications. otherwise i would suggest you go for others ROM.

Which rom do u mean? after flashing the rom then have problem still can sent for warranty?

please refer here for custom rom, and yes you may revert back to original rom for warranty.

you may use PIMBackup to backup all your contact / call history / sms / mms / Appointment / task. before proceed to flash ur device.

Hi,I already purchase htc touch yesterday...My friend sold it because need money urgent...
I tried to flash the rom n its ok.but when i try to change the screen theme suddenly i see a colourful stripe..Why is this happen...Newbie here

do you see "USB" at the bottom of the tri-color screen when you connect your Touch to your PC? If yes then your Touch is still not bricked yet

Just proceed with the flashing another time and you'll be all set. Oh ya, if possible try to remove your SIM card and memory card before you proceed with the flash.

ok,in the forum that evilpuppy give,there is a new rom version that can expand the storage..It named as Blue_Touch_OS_1921_Build 18521.0.7.0_Big_Stor_58Mb_V3.02..can my htc touch use it...

yup you can install it on your Touch

i try it but then error occur said "updated faile"...image corrupted

try to download again the ROM. could be corrupted in the middle while you try to downloading...

and REMEMBER to CID UNLOCK your Touch Before proceed to custom ROM or you will Brick your device.

BRICK = mean your device will DIE. become expensive ROCK (BATU)


Instructions:
1. Unzip
2. Close others program, just only this task...
2. Connect your phone to computer, make sure activesync is enabled (green icon)
3. Run ONLY elf-uspl.exe on your computer and follow instructions on screen below (this will popup a DOS Windows):

Please make sure Activesync is enabled (green icon in systray)
and hit ENTER to start...

STEP 1/3......50%......75%....100%

The next step will load a patched bootloader (SPL) on your device
it will make your device temporary SuperCID (seclevel=0), and will
avoid modelID and signature checking when flashing NBH files.

Hit ENTER to continue...

STEP 2/3.....15%.....25%...50%...75%.....100%

Phone screen should now be blank and the activesync icon gray
if not, the loading procedure has failed and you'll have to repeat again.

If all was OK hit ENTER and the standard "PDA Phone ROM Update Utility"
window will start, allowing you to flash patched SPL on your device.

Hit CTRL+C to Cancel or ENTER to continue...

Follow the steps on the wizard to flash the patched SPL, when this
step completes your device will reboot.

STEP 3/3 - Launching RUU, please wait...

Process is finished, congratulations!

ahh i am still stressed on the low memory anyone can mod it?

Ok..thanx..already did it. already follow the step until the screen is blank.then did i have to what the pda to switch on automatically..because it says that it need activsync to update the rom..did i need to downgrade the rom to version 1.0..

well, htc touch enhance version has increase its memory to 256MB, as for 1st generation touch maybe .. maybe can be upgrade.

once you've unlock CID, just ignore the default notifications then go ahead flash your favourite rom.

Am new here. Just got my HTC Touch about 2 months ago. Currently using Nokia E61 and HTC Touch. Just saw that the HTC Touch Enchanced looks the same but I want the white one. Is there anyway to change the covers for original HTC Touch?
