Looking for scooter power at around 125CC would be nice, reliable for daily basis and was considering brand Sym/Honda as was recommended by some experienced elders, or any models or brands that I should think about it and comes with not so pricey as well as better in fuel consumption?

stay away from sym. very limited service centre, compared to honda & yamaha. since ur budget is just for 125cc, any yamaha / honda will do good for u. sym parts also more expensive & hard to get.

include Yamaha as well.

SYM ok, but the body paint will degrade faster than the Japanese counterpart.

what I meant was you can include Yamaha as well during your survey.
I was referring to SYM when mentioning about body degradation. What is your budget?

Sym ok, soo many Elegan 150 and GTS200 running around, just as scooter bodypart will dulled (degraded) over the time.. especially if keep on parked under the sun. ..

Part a bit expensive, but can get from MForce, they are the (could be the only one) outside Jepunis brand distributor who consistently supporting their product.

But Honda sparepart availability can get from Thailand.. (nearer than Taiwan)

My budget is around 5-6k but if can not over 6k, I consider about fuel efficiency and handling most, is it possible to get front and rear disc brake in this price of range? Or as well as ABS?

Forget about ABS if your budget below 10k, the only chepest bike with ABS (Front) is Modenas, (Bajaj) pulsar NS200?

I think the closest to your requirement should be Honda Vario, but it's selling at 8k

Go for honda if u think fuel price (mpg) and yamaha for after sales/spart part availablity. Bare in mind Scooter segment in malaysia only 11% of two wheeler user, we are not like Vietnam, Thai or even Indonesia where honda BeAT, mio, aerox, nouvo, nmax, nex etc selling like hot cakes there. stay away from sym, demak, cmc or even suzuki nex in malaysia market.
