Guys,

I'm planning to go for a ride to Genting Highlands. I've already booked a room in First World Hotel but I've no idea where can I park my bike.

I'm planning to bring my bike right to the top hence can anyone share where is the best place to park bike?

What are the charges like and does the parking has security?

Thanks sifus

The parking is at B2 first world plaza. Ride all the way up from B8 and you will find the only parking lot there. I used to park for free before the barrier was implemented. But I haven't gone up with bike for almost a year.

There are 2 places where u can park bike in 1st world hotel

1. Is as ds legacy stated. Go into. The parking for cars (not the sky avenue entrance, it's the hotel parking entrance where the staff dorm is, so called mountain view side). Ride up all the way to b1 or b2, u can see alot of bikes parking there. Usually genting staffs park there too. U can either park at the designated boxes or just follow the rest and park wherever spot u can slot in. Parking is free, u dont have to take ticket or pay anything. Just go in straight. No security/jaga though so remember to lock your bike properly. If you have detachable boxes then take it off and bring into your room after check in. Not necessary but just being extra cautious only.

2. The very entrance/exit to the parking itself, where ppl stop to take/insert parking ticket. Level 8b it is called. Less bike park here sometimes no bike at all. But the parking box is drawn here. Again same no security, park at your own risk. If i stay tower 3, this is where i park. Straight got lift up to tower 3 lobby floor. Dont need to walk so far away to tower 1 lobby. Going up to b1/2 is so mah fan ride up pusing2 when coming and ride down pusing2 when leaving. I only park b1/2 if the room booked is tower 1/2 - as in standard, deluxe, triple. If u book y5 room, definitely it is tower 3.

Thanks bro. I appreciate it. I've also dropped RWG an email but they haven't replied for more than a week now.

Thank you so much bro. I really really appreciate the detailed reply. I actually don't really know the way up there but I'll spend some time going around.

I believe even though parking barrier has been implemented now, bike parking should still be free, yes? We'll need to go through the side of the barrier as other shopping malls unless there's a dedicated smaller bike entrance.

RWG hasn't been very helpful. I'm still waiting for their reply but I'm not putting any hopes now.

Yes, there's an opening between pillar just beside the parking barrier. any bike can easily pass through.

to get to the parking entrance once you reach the top after passing Ria Apartments, keep to your left. immediately after police station there's a left junction. dont miss it as it is a sharp left turn.

Attached Image

after you turn in then you will see bomba on your right and you're on the right way,

Attached Image

just continue straight until u meet a fork, keep left,

Attached Image

head further down, u will see staff dorm on both your left and right (the left one is named RSC something with a guardhouse)
past the dorms keep to your right immediately andyou will see this upward road leading into the parking.

Sorry for the late update. I rode up on Saturday and everything was good. Thanks to the detailed info, I found the bike parking with ease. Once I was inside the parking area, I made my way up to B1 to have a look on all the parking space and I made my mind to park my bike on B1 as I felt it was the best spot to park at.

All in all, it was an enjoyable ride up. Actually, to my surprise, they're plenty of bikes up in B3, B2 and B1. All these while I thought there wasn't any parking space for bike but now I know and I'm looking forward to go up again soon.

Thank you all for your kind help and info. I really appreciate all the info and tips.
