Realise few of the property I bought 2 years back all stagnant in price. Or rather 4 years ago sorry bought in 2014. Now 2018 see ppl selling same price still. Is this a normal occurrence nationwide. Last few years barely any appreciation

Hi sorry I'm not a speculator nor any UUU or DDD camp. I'm just asking is this a norm on average or basically I just made terrible investments.

No no. Just that this kind of topic is repetitive. So the same kind of comments will be repeated.

Especially from the shiitynomous.

Anyway, hope contributions from others will come soon.

I can’t quote her real name. So shiitynomous it is. She knows it’s her.

Think property investing is a marathon. Not a sprint. So yeah, patient it’s the key.

Well will be comforting if I know this is not gonna be for next 10 years. My family have terrible track record since 20 39 years back in prop market. We always buy during bull market n stop buying during the downturns lol. Somehow .
Now even me also buying at wrong time.

Until overhang is reduced substantially, price is unlikely to rise, and overhang expected to rise in next few years.

Price stagnant mean losing out on loan interest or fd interest.

as long as BNN still keep the loan tight, you can forget about making big money on properties. But of cause, you can renovate a bit and rent it out for better $$$

Kv property bull run 2012-2014 was a fallout of u.s qe, which is unlikely to reoccur in the foreseeable future. On the contrary, bank interest rate is on rising trend and liquidity is tightening.

Historically, residential price rise at about inflation rate. Due to exorbitant price rise 2011-2014, it will takes a number of years to return to long term price trend.
