Came across this article, despite that most of the industry experts seems fairly positive about the future value of ethereum, I am curious that how does the general public feel about the prospects of ethereum in the long term. Feel free to share your view , Iooking forward to some interesting discussion.

I went into it few weeks ago when it was around $18x.....generally not really a Crypto believer but it was more of a pure risk/return kind of thing.

For me the downside can be even $1. But the upside was around $13xx so it seemed like a reasonable time to go in. Also Ethereum seems to be more of the 'back end' for Bitcoin and other more advanced cryptos for mining so I think it has potential to go up again. But again, I'm invested in it so I might be biased.

Honestly speaking, if alts were to die first, it wouldn’t be ETH. I can’t see any platform alts would be overtaking ETH anytime soon TBH.

ETH has strong ecosystem and community, wont just dissapears like the other alts
but worry because there are other strong coins too like Stellar, Bitcoin, EOS

I see some sort of general correlation between all crypto currencies. Currently a bearish market is at play. When market turns to bullish, then Ethreum will also follow
