today i boot up my old laptop and it does some update for windows and antivirus, and it becomes sluggish especially when running game and bluestack emulator.

opening firefox or media player also can lag.

i notice the avast installed a browser and i uninstall it, after restart comp, the browser reinstalled back. then i uninstall avast and install bitdefender, the browser uninstall properly and the game and emulator etc can run like normal.


avast also detect some 20+ programs that it said slowing my system and many gb of junks, and had other service like driver update scan etc, is it going too bloated with unnecessary additional functions? i would prefer they focus on virus/malware than adding those other functions.
