Earlier in pregnancy, I was visiting both private gynae and KKIA.

At KKIA, they make appt for me to take Glucose Tolerance Test because
1) My mum is diabetic (on insulin daily)
2)I am over 35 years old.

But on the day of appt, KKIA missing my red card (their copy) so after wait and wait then only they realized I was supposed to do GTT (even though I told them many times I got GTT that day). When they found my card, the time for GTT were gone, they start GTT at 7.30 am. I was pissed because it wasn't my fault, I was there at 7.30 but they just kept asking me to wait and wait until they realised too late for GTT test already (and I was starving the whole morning to noon!)

They arrange another appt for GTT but I have did not go there anymore.

I ask my private gynae should I take GTT from her, she didn't recommend it. Because all the urine test (which I am doing on every check up with her). my baby is small and I am gaining very little weight.

Should I insist on having a GTT? What's the cost if I just do it somewhere else (other private clinic)?

I am now on Week 27.
