Yup, this is good enough.

Funny thing is iPad bought in bolehland and lion city now only come with 10w instead of 12w charger like other countries.

Secondary was celcom prepare line.

Once you having iPhone XS Max then talk again, guaranteed suffer on slower charging time. πŸ™

Unless you buy the iPad pro 2018 comes USB C fast charged.

2 and half hours take me too Long, I can’t wait at all πŸ˜“πŸ˜“

Whether u can wait or not is one thing.

My point in my previous posts is that the extra spent on the USB-c charger and cable does not give significant advantage over a cheap ipad charger which a lot already has it if they own an iPad given the extra cost that one will need to spend on the extra accessories. Ur test result is an additional proof on this. You get the credit for this additional proof too.

if one waits for 2 hours using the USB-c accessories to charge full a device, extra 30 mins does not make a significant difference becos it is likely that one is leaving there to charge full.

Most importantly, if one owns a iPhone XS Max, the battery life is already enough for one day use most of the time which most of them will likely to charge it at home and not outdoor.

It is good to let others know the available options to them, many has already used ipad charger for cheaper fast charge option, even one has no existing ipad charger, it is way easy and cheap to get one to take advantage of that plus one will not need to buy new cables and can use any lightning cable. I myself has been using ipad charger to charge my iPhones all the time and this is why I can ascertain that it is an good option and this needs not just rely only on the reviews from elsewhere.

In fact, for reviewers who have done the the tests to come out with the result and conclusion, they should get the credit too. And I do not see a problem for taking their test results as reference as they also indeed had done the experiments.

i think u get it wrong. PD advantage is from 1-50.. not from 1-100.. When u in rush and need to charge ur phone, this is where PD come in handy (with ori type-c ligtning). Yes ipad charger is slower by 30min. but in 30 mins in 2 hours plus is like 20-25% of different.. that a big different.

Like what you mentioned leaving there to charge full, then you might as well dont use ipad charger aso.. the 5W will charge it full too
i did it on my 7plus.. it doesnt provide drop protection.. the feeling like sticky sticky..if you plan to use ur phone naked, then this a good scratch resistant.. but if you plan to use case.. really no point..some case cant fit in then u have to change to case friendly version... after i stick i not really used to it... when i switch to xs, i didnt even consider it..now when u wan to change they charge per service.. last time is like foc

it is certainly not significantly faster. unless one has strong reason to get the small little advantage even from 0 to 50. ipad charger is certainly more bang for bucks.

Keke the charts showing till 80% only.
If charge from 80 to 100% this is taking more than double charging time than the normal charged.
*
Again, if one needs to charge till 100%, it means that likely the person is at home or is doing sleep time charging. It does not make a difference.

Most importantly from the chart can see how much difference betwern the 12w ipad charger vs higher voltage fast charger for one to decide whether it is worth the money.

Yea no doubt ipad charger has higher CP rate, like i always share previously get ipad charger instead of PD if you dont plan to get ori lightning cable.

but PD compared to ipad charger is not small little advantage.. In 30mins time.. 10% of different is alot... 10% of battery life can easily last you 1-2hours.

not to forget this is ipad charger 12W which come tgt with ipad pro.. the ipad charger you got with normal ipad would be 10w..that might be slightly slower..
*
yes, but dun forget the fact that every year, iphone is getting better battery than before, it means that iphone can have all-day battery the better and better.
In most cases, where one can easily have access to charger no matter in office or home, even without, one can easily have the battery last till they reach home. so technically, the extra 10% is not going to make a difference to most people. yes, you may say that you personally may feel the difference, but it is the majority that matters here. if it is individual preference, there is no even point of discussing.

if one is travelling and will use the phone to take photos or videos a lot, yes, i am sure the battery will not be able to last till he reaches hotel. in such case, most people will just bring along power bank and it is a simple solution than even fast charging. I am sure people will bring only power bank and not the 18w usb-c power brick and usb-c to lightning cable when they are on the go.

10w vs 12w is small difference, not going to make a significant difference too. they are way faster than 5w charger out of the box but the CP is way highway than the 18w usb-c charger plus the usb-c to lighning cable that one needs to buy.

proven that extra power does not help in speedding up the charging.
18w is already the max.

and apple has started selling the 18w usb-c charger that comes with ipad pro 2018.
