Hahaha, grats bro. Local MY set?

NZ set, I’m working there now biggrin.gif
One thing I noted that is true that the reception is not as stellar as the iPhone X, my network sticks to 3G more often when 4G is clearly in abundance.

Quite satisfied.

The phone is amazing, the screen, the size, the keyboard
It’s like an iPad mini mini!

I went the opposite route, from the Xs Max to now the Xr, hahaha. Let us know what do you think of the battery life of the Xs Max in comparison to the Xr after a week or so ya..
Yes, Apple devices have incredibly long standby times when not in use, but once you start using them, they start depleting like a flowing stream, haha. That said, I’m impressed so far with the Xr battery life. The compromises  of a lower res screen and no 3D Touch works for me smile.gif

Battery is pretty impressive, I would say almost the same as the XR.

Anyone have any experience with the official Apple silicone case? I saw some pictures and the white case looks really good with the XS Max.

Used to have 1 black one ...

The grip is smooth at first then get grippy after usage for some time. If you sweat a lot it grips even more.

Take note it dont cover the bottom of the phone just like the leather one. But the bumper properties of the case is much better than leather one since its silicone.

I heard it picks up lint really easily. Is it really true or exeggerated?

Quite true ... mine always pick up dust and lint but its easy to wipe. I think you wont notice it much on white.

Thanks, I’ll think more about it since it’s suoer expensive where I live.
How about caudabe cases? The sheath?? Lots of sponsored YouTube videos but not sure they’re good or not

Yeah man I love Apple to the core but one thing is their pricing strategy is moving fans like me away. Year after year they kept increasing price to new products while maintaining price for old product.

And since US dollar is so strong it impacts us non-US buyers even more.
The most absurd is that I bought my 10.5 iPad Pro last year for $1,099 and after the new iPad Pro announcements they made changes for currency exchange and now it’s sellinf at $1,149. What the fuck man

This.

Years ago Android wasn’t an option as it was laggy and had all sort of problems. But now they aren’t far behind. If they solve a few more kinks and start putting 5000mAh batteries in their flagships I can see myself finally deciding to move for good if Apple continues this trend. Can imagine a day will come when they ask for $1999 for an entry level iPhone.

No, I don’t think I’ll ever use Android as my main phone. Not for the time being. I like Apple’s stance on various issues like privacy and I’m not giving that up by going Android.

The price increase will probably make me buy previous gen devices rather than current gen one.
