lol, those are tested with volt tester, dont be silly that only Apple type-c to lightning can fast charge
you know what Apple fast charge is? it is Power Delivery, any third party usb-c to lightning support PD can fast charge  doh.gif
i myself have ori apple usb-c to lightning and those third party, the total Watt draw, almost equally same
*
of cause i understand PD.. are you sure third party cable able to do 15V@1.2A with ios 11.3.1 above? mind to share some pic?

Btw if both draw same watt, it should charge the same time, why third party use 30mins longer? get my point?

everyone outside lowyat share only apple ori cable able to fast charge after ios 11.3.1... even the seller of third party cable confirm this... just ppl from lowyat keep on insist third party cable can fast charge.. i dont understand...

after all is your money, get the cable you like..

hey guys. noticed there is a buzzing kind of sound every time i watch a video. googled and notice a few people experiencing the same. some said a soft reset should fix it. or changing the speaker balance from both top and bottom to just one side.

did all those but the voice (in the video) is like 'vibrating' sweat.gif is this common or apple is just telling you to get the airpod?
*
ur buzzing sound direct from speaker/earphone or the buzzing sound happen in 7+ era you need to place ur head at the back of the phone?

Guys would like get all of u opinion should I get iPhone X’s Max 64 or 256gb because currently my 6s plus 64gb still left 30gb but I scared when upgrade to ip xs Max 64gb the iOS take a lot of space and of course the photo when capture its take how many mb ...
*
if you have the budget.. go for 256... ios will take similar space with ur 6s plus.. picture and video surely will take up space, if you getting 64gb mayb you need to backup to pc for storage

you cannot blame all third party when you could get lousy one, no point argue with you, not all third party have problem ok
*
i pretty sure none of third party able to support apple pd.. apple pd dont work without MFi.. a simple information verification can be done by google and some read.. all dont intend to do it.. and insist on own perspective..

yup no point we continue this.. when i have question for your statement, none of your who say third party support fast charge able answer my doubt, basically just ignore my question.. you happy with your cable then is fine...

prove to me any third party cable able to do the same speed with ori typec cable with ios 12.. if you able to prove that i free everyone here ori typec cable..

dont ever come to me and say it does support but slow than ori by 30mins... suck it up and admit it does not support..

it does charge but just normal 12W.

The main issue was slightly slower to compare as the original from Apple.
The result just like use with 3rd party charger only.
But does not mean it’s cant works at all , pop up the message like your device not supported.

I did it for all, to me I wanted to charge it fast or keep it slower or take it 3.5 hours for fully charged, its my choices and my opinion.

Everything is not hurt your phone at all.
*
hello, i did not even mentioned it does not support charge like your device not supported..

i highlighted it does not support apple PD charging speed. It will charge same speed like you using ipad charger. Its slow by 30min mentioned by you not abit..

Yea is all your choice but you giving out wrong statement that third party able to to support fast charge which it did not. It will charge but with 12W not 18W.

It can works but doesnt mean it support apple PD

why need to rage like this, we bought it and we don't care it slightly slower dan the original cable. and we also don't rage with other people who use original cable, we just said we opt to get cheaper cable with almost similar usage. we just comparing price range laa. comparison is good, and mostly we like to joking around with apple premium price accessories only. just "berlapang dada" . we compare it because we experienced it , we compared it when our friends ask about it. if u think this can be bad influence to apple devices user than maybe u can open a thread or write a blog regarding this. u can write the whole process regarding the untrue of third party cable vs original apple cable.
*
if you follow the whole story then only comment..else just shh.. i know you dont care slightly slower(30mins is not slightly). All i want to stress out is third party do not support PD while it does charge. That all i want to mentioned.. you can archive same speed using ipad charger and normal type-A which is cheaper.. and yeah.. i hate apple ori accesories too. bad quality.. but now only ori apple type-c able to charge with 18w take it or leave it

QUOTE(lat @ Nov 8 2018, 12:31 PM)
Anyway, any suggestion on 12W charger adapter? I’m sick w original 5w, take foreverrrrr to fully charged. Good, reliable & cheap. Thank you
*
get any 5V@2.4A charger and use with your cable out from the box for the cheapest option..

if you want a faster speed, get any PD charger but must pair with ori apple type C cable.. if you plan to get third party type-c cable, u might as well get any 5v@2.4A charger and use with normal cable which is cheaper this way.

check below @celciuz quote too..

QUOTE(buyoq @ Nov 8 2018, 12:57 PM)
pls dont advertise here

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 8 2018, 01:28 PM)
Doesn't matter how much capacity the PD charger has, the iPhone only capable of 18W charging.

So far the best sweet spot for now is 2.4A (12W) charger with the standard cable. You can still use the cable outside as the Type A is widely available compared to the Type C.

that's true.. so fast charge may be more helpful for Xs Max users..

I only use Xs and at first i wanted to buy the fast charger too but now i think i don't really need it..
*
i using xs... i did compare to my friend xs max, we both using pd fast charger, there are slight different between 2.. for 30mins charging from 10%.. i got 64% while my friend xs max around 59%...

get a ipad charger or 5v@2.4A charger fast enough for xs..

1) How about the battery life compare to iPhone X vs iPhone Xs vs iPhone Xr? So far I know that iPhone X have good battery life, but if compare to Xs and Xr?

i using xs.. my wife using x.. xs battery is slightly better than x.. just slightly

2) The screen sharpness to read word or YouTube ? iPhone X vs iPhone Xr (for those come from iPhone X)
go to shop compare side by side... noticeable for me

3) iPhone XS and Xr can really dual standby dual use for call and using data? Can both turn on data at the same time? I mean one can backup other if one at poor coverage area.
only 1 data for now.. but future ios update might enable both

4) HK set dual physical SIM card more convenient or with the esim one? Most trusted and cheapest way to get it?
T&L

5) do you think worth to change iPhone X to iPhone Xr if considering of dual SIM card, battery life (some said iPhone XR has the best battery life ever in iPhone line , really).
No, that somehow consider as downgrade..

Thank you

Anyone having issues with your iPhone XS charging on ONE side of the Lightning connector only?

Using the original charger and cable and I noticed that my phone will only charge on one side of the Lightning connector but not the other. A bit strange as I assumed that since it's reversible, both orientations will work.
*
try with different cable?

18W not as fast but still consider fast charged
I don’t have experience yet, yesterday carry 11 inch iPad Pro, it’s lighter weight but I felt that 12.8 inch more suitable for me.
*
any idea where can get the new ipad pro charger without getting 1 ipad pro?? in love with the size compare to macbook charger..

btw 18W is enough to fast charged iphone.. iphone only draw 18w max even use macbook 30w charger biggrin.gif

iphone dont support qc3.0/qc2.0.. only fast charging apple support is PD.

you can use qc3.0 charger to charge your iphone.. but it will limited to 5v@2.4A equivalent to ipad charger..

while PD fast charge(with apple ori cable) able to charge with 12v@1.5A

Does original apple lighting cable stop charges as well when the phone is at 100%?
*
yes and no... every modern smart phone are design in such way, it will stop when it reach 100% to avoid overcharge.. after reaching 100% it will trickle charging(on and off) to maintain 100%..

Can i use other type c to lightning cable apart from the original cable? Or they won’t be supported if using other brand cables?
*
you can use other type c to lightning cable but it only charge with 5V@2.4A (12W) which is same as u use normal type A lightning cable.

edit: it will be the same speed as u use type A lightning cable plug into the normal usb hole (orange colour)

only apple ori type-c to lightning able to PD fast charge with 12V@1.5A(18W).
