I did it just now for my scondary Sim was data plan, after change to secondary slot it is work fine for me.
For my main Sim was remain on Celcom.

But make sure have to enable the 3G/4G voice & data.

I’m not too sure. Actually most of SG SIM card are support hotspot on scondary Sim slot.
But many members are fact with MALAYSIA SIM card no hotspot on scondary Sim slot.

Just to clarify, is your first and second sim both from same telco?

Nope my main is Starhub data plan only
Secondary was celcom prepare line.

Now is switching over, the secondary was Starhub data plan & main put on celcom roaming.

Even my main line was roaming now.
The secondary line still accessible to internet and hotspot

Iphone iPad doesn’t provide international warranty.
Why get US set, it is cheaper than HK or SG set?

Avoid turbo sim as is inconvenient after a reset...tedious procedure to have it unlock again
Warranty - positive none here

new XS MAX user here  biggrin.gif . want to ask, when want unlocl phone, we touch the screen and FACE ID to unlock..is it the phone sensitive, sometimes din even fully look at the phone also can unlock. until one time i accidently touchh n put back to pocket doesnt know it edi unlock when took out lucky din make any call to other person yet.  blink.gif

Toggle on "require attention to unlock" somewhere in face id setting. That will require you to look at the phone to unlock.

And yes, i find XS screen is really sensitive. Can't differentiate correctly between a touch and a tap. It supposed to wake up with a tap. If touch also wake up die lo. I even turn off raise to wake ciz i find it too sensitive even at the slightest raise which could occur when you moving the phone on the table.

Both main SIM card. Currently work in Singapore.

Primary slot, Singtel.
Secondary slot, Hotlink.

Whenever I return to Malaysia, I change the setting for 'mobile data' and 'default voice line' to secondary. Call and data work fine, but the only issue is personal hotspot not working for secondary sim.
Personal hotspot turned on, laptop able to connect to my iPhone hotspot, but no internet connection on my laptop.

I took out my Hotlink sim and place it on primary slot, everything work as usual.
*
Go research what is Hotlink APN and go secondary there manual set APN, after that restart the phone.

Probably simply throwing in just a statement
possible for normal unlock set
Anyway claiming all overseas set here is a hot and miss affair. It isn't a simple straight forward affair. Some are luck and equally some isn't claiming successfully.
Forget about turbo sim - you will regret later for sure once your phone has problems and a reset is required

Lots of sellers are like that simply throwing up such statement. Am sure turbo sim sets won't be entertain here. Anyway many had suggested one write in first to Apple for warranty claiming before heading off to any service center. Apparently if accepted by Apple you would get some sort of reference number
Good luck trying to claim such foreign sets

Either that or they are misinformed.

All the same, I’d avoid turbo SIM sets if I were you.

The only advantage is cheap. But it’s quite troublesome actually due to reset is required after software update if not mistaken.

Right, not worth the hassle, imho.
