Shares with you guys to save some money. But make sure you have 3.0QC 18W charger. Guess which one is the most faster charging speed? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Baseus 2.4A really fast. From 50-100% just 89 minutes vs original Apple lightning cable from 50-100% 86 minutes with 18W USB type C. Link https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32899128915.h...Ow1546839443790

QUOTE(saw2001 @ Jan 7 2019, 04:29 PM) Is it normal for the battery health to drop 1% to 99% after like a month of usage? My previous iPhone 6s is still 100% on the battery health despite changing it for almost close to 9 months. Which model?

Lol very funny for this quick charge 3.0 18W with type A.
When charging from 1-50% taken 42m vs 27m from Apple original type C cable with 18W PD.
the result : 1-10% 6m (type A) vs 5m (Type C) 30% 23m vs 17m 50% 42m vs 27m
But when change from 50-100% almost same as PD speed, 81m vs 88m PD.
If someone wanna save money just get the type A QC3.0 charger will work great for XS Max.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 12 2019, 10:05 AM) So I was trying to avoid overcharging my XS Max by putting timer on the chargers, but somewhat only the 5W original charger timing was right and the other 10W, 12W chargers were way off (meaning it was much lower % charged). Decided to buy the USB tester and found my XS Max only charging at 1.5A to 1.8A on these chargers... (they are all Apple chargers and original apple USB cables). But using the same charger, if I plug into my Anker powerbank which accepts 2A charging... it showed 2A... hmm The original Apple USB A come with box. No issue to support with 5.2V - 2.4V Max. I had test it before with USB tester. Make sure your charger can support up to 3.0 QC capable = 5V/3A , 9/2.4, 12/1.5A = 18W Type A. Not the 5V/2.4 or 2.5A Max. Below the example This baseus cable same as Apple original Type A. Fully charged from 1-100% took 130minutes for those 5V/2.4A Max cable on type A cable. QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 12 2019, 01:11 PM) Bro, your example is different cable same charger right? If you see carefully your photo, first one is 1.43A / 7.12W, while second one is 2.34A / 11.95W... wah seh the cable make so much diff . What is this 2 cable differences? My original cable can't even get 2A on the same charger which can charge my Anker powerbank at 2A. Same cable different charger.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 12 2019, 01:37 PM) Apple 5W + original cable = 0.97A more or less there. Samsung charger? = 0.97A UG QC3.0 = 2.05A... but still no where close to 2.4A... Hmm, which means pretty much I haven't seen one where XS Max able to hit 2.4A on Type A... I have been wondering why my CarPlay socket is rated 1.5A but the charge speed is really slow... like my original socket... this assured me... when CarPlay is enabled, it charges at 1A, while if CarPlay disabled it draws 1.5A power instead. [attachmentid=10158512] Haha same cable in differences device all the current draw in are variable. ZMI powerbank Type C original Apple cable ZMI 3 ports with type C PD ZMI 5k powerbank with instant charger. Charger from powerbank This Baseus cheap cable to producer up to 2.4A Max.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 12 2019, 04:03 PM) nice set of data there! Summarizing it, ZMI Powerbank with Baseus cable 1.69A / 8.48W ZMI Powerbank + Apple Type C 2.11A / 19W <-- this is the real deal... ZMI 3 ports + ??? cable --> 2.34A / 12.16W <-- top speed for usb A ZMI 5k with instant charger --> 2.34A / 12.23W <-- top speed for usb A ZMI 5k powerbank --> 1.86A / 10W Could you do me a favor... if you have one of those 10W/12W apple charger, can you see what values are you getting? mine both can't even get close to 2A... using original apple cable, wonder if that baseus can get 2A on it. The sadly I don’t have Apple ipad 10/12W charger. In my experience to test from 12W non Apple charger the TOP speed was 5V / 1.65A around there. If 18W 5/2.5A charger then go up 5V/1.9A max charging speed.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 12 2019, 06:09 PM) Weird part is my XS Max charges at 1.5A roughly on the 10W charger, but using the same 10W charger to charge my Anker powerbank it goes up to 2A. Anyways, to those worried about overcharging their iPhone overnight, I let mine charge until 100% and continue. Once it touches 100%, it will slowly ramp down the charge rate until 0.00 ~ 0.01A after approximately 1 hour. However, if you wake the phone up it will immediately start charging or is it using power from the supply itself. After screen turn off then it will go back to 0A. Lol, how many percent battery now? Seen like more than 80% of cause less than 1A only. Try to charging from 40-60% battery left

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 12 2019, 06:50 PM) Keep plug in and out die man my XS Max mia port haha! Now I put my old 6 Plus for white mouse... trying see which combination I can get above 1.5A LOL. 80% onwards I think is 1A, until about 95% then I slowly drop to 0.5A, 0.3A etc. Once it touch 100%... it become very low... I think it trickle charge until full it stop supplying. Today just got mine 18W Type and 5V/4A for Oppo. The faster charging still on 18W 5V/3A charger. Any charger come from 5V/2, 2.4 or 2.5A the charging speed still less than 3.0 QC charger as well.
