Is it normal for the battery health to drop 1% to 99% after like a month of usage?

My previous iPhone 6s is still 100% on the battery health despite changing it for almost close to 9 months.

i got my xs max around global launching time, now 99%.

So I was trying to avoid overcharging my XS Max by putting timer on the chargers, but somewhat only the 5W original charger timing was right and the other 10W, 12W chargers were way off (meaning it was much lower % charged). Decided to buy the USB tester and found my XS Max only charging at 1.5A to 1.8A on these chargers... (they are all Apple chargers and original apple USB cables).

But using the same charger, if I plug into my Anker powerbank which accepts 2A charging... it showed 2A... hmm

If you see carefully your photo, first one is 1.43A / 7.12W, while second one is 2.34A / 11.95W... wah seh the cable make so much diff . What is this 2 cable differences? My original cable can't even get 2A on the same charger which can charge my Anker powerbank at 2A.

Apple 5W + original cable = 0.97A more or less there.

Samsung charger? = 0.97A

UG QC3.0 = 2.05A... but still no where close to 2.4A...

Hmm, which means pretty much I haven't seen one where XS Max able to hit 2.4A on Type A...

I have been wondering why my CarPlay socket is rated 1.5A but the charge speed is really slow... like my original socket... this assured me... when CarPlay is enabled, it charges at 1A, while if CarPlay disabled it draws 1.5A power instead.

ZMI Powerbank + Apple Type C 2.11A / 19W <-- this is the real deal...
ZMI 3 ports + ??? cable --> 2.34A / 12.16W <-- top speed for usb A
ZMI 5k with instant charger --> 2.34A / 12.23W <-- top speed for usb A
ZMI 5k powerbank --> 1.86A / 10W

Could you do me a favor... if you have one of those 10W/12W apple charger, can you see what values are you getting? mine both can't even get close to 2A... using original apple cable, wonder if that baseus can get 2A on it.

Weird part is my XS Max charges at 1.5A roughly on the 10W charger, but using the same 10W charger to charge my Anker powerbank it goes up to 2A.

Anyways, to those worried about overcharging their iPhone overnight, I let mine charge until 100% and continue. Once it touches 100%, it will slowly ramp down the charge rate until 0.00 ~ 0.01A after approximately 1 hour.



However, if you wake the phone up it will immediately start charging or is it using power from the supply itself. After screen turn off then it will go back to 0A.

Keep plug in and out die man my XS Max mia port haha! Now I put my old 6 Plus for white mouse... trying see which combination I can get above 1.5A LOL.

80% onwards I think is 1A, until about 95% then I slowly drop to 0.5A, 0.3A etc. Once it touch 100%... it become very low... I think it trickle charge until full it stop supplying.
