Been using ATM2 for a year now..my reviews on this tyres are

Pros
1) decent handling on both wet and dry
2) affordable
3) silent <60km/h

Cons
1) real noisy (woo woo sound) >60km/h
2) it gives a really loud sound on certain tarmac especially old ones
3) sidewall abit soft therefore it doesn’t give me much confidence for sharp cornering

Personally it’s geared more towards performance than comfort/silence imho

Even the ATM 1 is noisy and not lasting. My wife car it just clocked around 30k+ km and need replacement. Wet grip is decent.

What is the size of tyre that you installed for your Assurance Triplemax 2? I got mine installed last year and so far it's not exactly noisy. I didn't install all 4 tyres though. Only the front tyres are Assurance Triplemax 2 while the rear tyres are Yokohama Bluearth AE50.

Previously I was on Yokohama AE50 for all 4 tyres but the handling was moderately good. The Assurance Triplemax 2 replacing the AE50 for the fronts offer better stability, handling and wet performance.

If you want quiet, perhaps try Michelin Primacy 4 and see if it is quieter than the Triplemax 2? I guess it should as the Primacy 4 is one of the quietest tyres around. However, handling may not be as good but if you don't drive aggressively then it would be fine. Personally I'm looking at quiet and comfort tyres as well after this and looking at the Primacy 4 or perhaps one of the quiet Yokohama series of tyres.

Bought new Proton Saga in 2017 stock with atm2. I driven to 60k before changing it. The cabin feels quiet and the grip is super good in both dry and wet. Not to mention braking is great as well. I have a mixed driving style and really love pushing my car when cornering, imagine I did this all the time even during 60k mileage. I was told by my brother to change because its botak already. The tyre is that good I didn’t bother to change. I would love to switch back to this now using cheapo ones because I was jobless back then when I changed me tyres.

I was quoted RM700/4 pieces. Planning to change my comfy but unimpressive CC5s.
Seeing now that it has buyer's 6 months warranty, I think it's a good deal.

sadly they dont have 185/60R15 which is the size i'm looking for.

found another lazada seller rm169. their official website stores quoting 180 and above sweat.gif

was considering between ATM2 and xm+ rolleyes.gif but the 6 months warranty in case of puncture etc is a very good selling point imho

Just changed to ATM2 on beg of Dec (185/55/16) for around 200/pcs + labor rm90 for alignment and etc. So far so good on the wet and dry breaking. But i did notice when i speed around 100kmh+ in highway the wind or road noise is quite loud. I mentioned in other post, member said its because tyre now is quiet so i can hear noise from the road, so i'm not sure about that. Otherwise, its recommended to try.

Triplemax Assurance 2 came with my Persona. It was noise in the cabin. I decided to change the front 2 to XM2 and the noise was lesser in the cabin. Today. one of the rear tyres had gone flat. Goodyear tyres do not last long. After 2 years, I have to change the tyres in my Toyota Sienta to XM2. The road handling is good though.

Even though Goodyear tyres are cheaper, I do not recommend these tyres. They are not reliable and don't last long

My experience using this tyre (1.5 years ~ 30k km)

Grip : Decent for daily drive n heavy rain.
Noise : its really quiet when new. Once worn down to 60% or so, started to become noisy

I would says its suitable for a daily drive car and not so aggresive driving.

It's been 6 months since I've changed mine.

For the most part, dry and wet grip has improved lots.
In the sound department, consider ok. I'm not as anal since I always drive with music blaring into my ears.

Sidewall is rather bulbous and soft. But it is not as soft as Conti CC6s. If quietness & plush ride is your main concern, CC6 won. But for wet and dry, my money goes to ATM2.

A nitpick for me is the sidewall design and bulbous look. Other than that no concerns. My previous tyre will activate TCS whenever I sped off a junction. Worst still, wet braking on CC5s.
