Yasterday i got unifi installed at my house. I thought it will be free of charge, but the installer later asked 30 ringgit for fiber connector (which goes to onu). He said it is not included in the free installation. Is this correct?

My current cabling set up is:
From the Fibre Distribution Box on the pole behind my home, they pulled overhead Fiber cable (black) and fixed a small loop on the wall then continued across the roof through the louver window and directly went down to the BTU in the living quarter below... 

Is this a standard practice? Actually, is that box on the pole a distribution box or FTB? I thought it was the former...

I see, than kyou... so the installation guide is considered a bit outdated... but I'd assume in such case many charges are also different now? Didn't get to find more info from TM website or even technical support is not helping at all...

My setup Huawei hg8240w, Tplink Archer 1200c, unifi300Mbps
Bought 2 cat7 n 3 cat6 ugreen cables from official store@Lazada, when check port speed status, sometimes 100M(fast.com <100) other time 1G(fast.com 150 to 220), not consistent.
Wifi on laptop or mobile, speed always between 160 to 220.
Does it mean my Ugreen cables not good?

I'm paying rm190 per month too. Without std20. How to reduce the price? The most frustrating thing is the hpptv. I didn't even use it at all yet paying every month.

my turbo unifi is 500mbps, using wired connection on gigabit port, what download numbers i should expect from speedtest.net ?

this is weird. i tink im only getting 100mbps + - via speedtest.net. using cat5e old cable & dir-850l for ages... lan connection got disconnected sometimes.. hmm

Hi guys, need your advice. Is it possible to enable QoS and not throttling the link speed? My unifi has been turbo-ed to 800Mbps, plan to get a Asus AC86, just wonder if I can enable QoS without sacrifice the speed.

Coz I wan to allocate certain amount for each person. So when I download something, it won't affect other ppl + I can fully utilize the bandwidth allocated and vice versa.

But if I want to limit download for http e.g. thru dropbox, gdrive and website.. etc. Coz I need to download a lot of work files like OS/setup image file, videos. How can I achieve it? Can download manager do this? If yes, can recommend some good download manager? Thx in advance.

Im willing to give my STB just to cancel the subscription for HyppTv.
