How much are you paying currently for your 100mbps? Quite a few paying RM189 and below got upgraded to only 500mbps here.
*
yes, RM189 per month. is this everyone for this package RYE 2017 can upgrade to 500 Mbps only?

You can't upgrade to V3 via firmware. You need to buy the C1200 v3.
Just connect to LAN1 on the BTU normally using a Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable. See 1st page, 1st post, green text, for troubleshooting. You need to determine your BTU and router.

oh i see. my hardware is v1, so which firmware is the latest for this?

My TM TP Link C1200 V1 with this firmware : 1.0.0 Build 20180403 rel.22124.

Just updated not long ago after got turbo. So far didn't see any issue, even though all the while before turbo and firmware upgrade, this router serve me well~
*
i just upgraded the router as well. wondering why the download speed only capped at 300 Mbps via 5 Ghz for turbo upgrade 500 Mbps package?

Make sure you have your PPPoE username and password handy.
upgraded successfully, but the suffix of WiFi id has "@unifi" kinda weird.

RM 189 only 500 Mbps, RM199 can get 800 Mbps.
*

Lots of issues for many users today. Don’t worry about it. If it is still happening, disable IPv6 and if you are using the TP-Link C1200 v1, change your router to something else.

all the time, i disabled the IPv6 and the problem still persists. any other solutions can enlighten me?
