I am currently on UniFi Advance Plus 50Mbps (Thank You Campaign 2017)
monthly paying for 189 a month.

running on VDSL (high rise building), as far i know they won't be able to run 100M because not running on fiber.

so current unifi offer 30M package got 60GB quota. i am stuck in limbo. what should i do ??

Visit TMPoint to nego the pricing. Some can get RM119, some RM99 50mbps.

I have nothing to say, coz I've read from many pages ago that someone manage to do it. Maybe for a start try to explain to them, if it doesn't work then tell them you're going to switch to Maxis RM89, and see if they will try to retain you.
Maxis also use TM's infra though, if your contract ended and you want, can give it a try. As for now, go a step further and lodge another complain with MCMC.
No lubang lah bro. Just search this topic you can find someone can et RM99 by going to nego with tmpoint staff.

i just chat over the online support, manage to open a case report. guess next step i had to visit TM point to nego.

at the chat they give those scripted generic reply. would very frustrating.... bangwall.gif

Just back from TM point, they offer me 30M for RM139 i did not accept. i'm running on VDSL 50M for RM179 for now.

i already made complain via chat and open a ticket, then next day a person call say i can get 50M for RM129, but i need to go TM Point with that reference report. but then plot twist. then customer service at TM point told. there so such thing blah blah blah... either RM79 30M/60G quota or RM139 for 30M unlimited with 2 YEAR CONTRACT.

so i guess their business practices is despicable, what to do now ?
complain CFM first or SKMM first ??

any help or tips would be great.

did you go to TM's own TMpoint, OR the TM Authorized Dealer TMpoint? That makes a difference!

The Official TM Point. I already made my first ever SKMM/MCMC complaint. don't know how it goes.

In the schedule of the National Fiberization & Connectivity Plan (NFCP), copper will be completely phased out only from 2025.

Meanwhile, Unifi VDSL users and even ADSL (Streamyx) users in areas not yet covered by Fiber will be also victimized, paying so much more for slower speeds.

I was one such Unifi VDSL user stuck with 30Mbps but paying the same price as 300Mbps Turbo Upgrade users. Not only TM does not offer a reduced pricing plan while awaiting the copper phase out, they just kept quiet and continue charging the same price.

Then I gave up waiting & switched to Time Fibre (RM139 for 500Mbps), and when I received a call from TM after I submitted my Request for Termination, the guy on the phone asked why, so I told him the reason & that I switched to Time, he asked if I have already installed. Because I have already installed, he say then is ok & proceed to tell me the procedure for termination.

So it looks like, they will only offer you the hidden packages for VDSL users if you Requested for Termination, OR like some forumers here, went to TMpoint to argue for it!

Why can't they switch VDSL users to the lower package automatically, giving them the option to upgrade to the Turbo Speed at a new price when it's available?

From the way TM is doing things, they will continue to lose customers!

wanna try play chicken with TM submit termination request. is it done via unifi portal ?
