Plan to downgrade my Unifi Biz 500Mbps (RM249 before SST, RM272 with SST) to Unifi Biz 100Mbps (RM199 before SST, RM211 with SST).

1. Should I grab the free BTU/Router replacement? The BTU/router checker tool says I'm eligible for the replacement.
Weird thing is, my BTU is already Gigabit capable HG8240W. Using with AC55UHP, but my original Unifi router was Innatech RG4332  

2. Which one better? Downgrade first then request or request replacement then downgrade? Does it make any difference? I'm no longer on contract at the moment.

Am now turbo'ed to 500mbps! If opting for unifi routers, will the technician come to set it up?

You can get RM 159 too, remove the Ruby pack. 

How do you guys update to Win10 1809? Mine is 1803 and I try to get the updates via Windows Update, and it says I have the latest version of Win10 already~

As for the TP Link T9UH wifi adapter, I downloaded and installed the latest driver from tplink site, Archer T9UH(US)_V2_181023_Win (published 2018-11-09), but when I check my driver from the adapter properties, it only shows Driver Version : 1030.22.405.2017, Driver Date : 11/9/2017....

Any T9UH users mind to share which driver version and driver date you guys are using?

Yes. Ookla speedtest to TM server via LAN cable yields mostly high 400mbps and sometimes low 500mbps.

However, speedtest.tm.com.my will always give me 800+mpbs consistently.

It depends on the server

I used myRen server at Cyberjaya and can get close to 750 mbps

Other server get around 500 mbps

hello im new on this forum.. just wanna chk wit u guyz.. i have checked on unifi website shows tat my turbo status is upgraded.. but i still not receiving turbo speed 800mbps when i go speedtest.. i manage to get 90+ download and 100+ upload speed...

just want to confirm is my modem good enough to support turbo speed upgrade ? my modem now is I-240G-P. the very first gen modem of unifi. for router im using asus rtac88u.

Hi, any idea why my UNIFI speed only reaches about 90-100Mbps during speedtest  which was done using CAT 5e LAN wire directly connected to my laptop, although supposedly I have been upgraded to 500Mbps. My router is D-Link DIR-615 which should be able to support up to 1000Mbps using LAN. Tried speedtest many times, but max speed still below 100Mbps. Thanks in advance.

hi guys, just a quick one, i just received email saying that ive been sucessfuly upgraded to turbo 500mbps

I went to click on checking hardware, it says my equipment is ready, but im not getting anywhere near 500mbps, on cat5e cable im only able to get around 100mbps.

Currently im using RG-MARITIME-TRG212M router.

Do i need to call in and request for a free upgrade of hardware?

My friend told me he was in previous package RM129 30Mbps and get free upgraded to 300Mbps.

Offering different discount is acceptable because it is sales/marketing strategy. Like when you buy a car, you get different discount from different salesman.

But forcing a tv package bundle to the consumer is like forcing everyone to buy a body kit for the car. Isn't that considered antitrust? Can we bring this to tribunal and force them to remove the tv package?

I doubt you can. Just go for a competitor's package that does not include TV or TM's own recent no-TV package.
