speedtest all the time show 300mbps . of course cant rely on it

Thats show ur line capable to reach 300. Try download from ms or google see how the speed. Also your phone able to handle the download? Save data to storage and so on.. Speedtest not doing that. Need to understand also other limitation, especially torrent.

I think that's the best effort by TM
They promise 800Mbps but it's hard to achieve

Actually can run more than 800++ mbps but the problem is tm to worldwide network routing is shit and also alot of server didn't have the dedicated 1gbps bandwidth,so even we got the capacity to download it,the server still didn't have enough bandwidth to give us.
For me i using IDM to download files from bigger website or cdn,can always get 100MB/s.

All FTP servers aren't created equal.. As already explained, you need to first ascertain if the server is even capable of dedicating 1Gbps speeds just for you.. Then you talk. Not all servers can biggrin.gif

Single connection? Try segmenting your FTP download. The best I got so far from a non-segmented FTP download is 100Mbps.

Of course , as others here have said, ensure that the server can support higher speeds. Did they say how much bandwidth you can use for FTP?

I've posted this in the router thread but got no response so I was wondering if anyone here been tho the same problem or able to assist.

I am using Unifi Turbo-ed to 300 Mbps. BTU using Huawei 8240. So, happily changed my router to Archer C6. But after trying to config around, the max speed I could get is around ~120 Mbps max for WiFi (Tested on Lenovo X280 laptop and iPhone XS). Often than not it's below 100 Mbps.

LAN Cable from BTU to router I'm using CAT 5e. Are they any config that I've to set in order to reach near to 300?

Location of test: Right beside the router and BTU running on 5Ghz.

Just to make sure the account is properly cap to 300mbps, did you test using lan cable on laptop and see how's the speed? If you have spare lan cable, can try to swap the cable and test again just to make sure.

I only have 1 cat-5e lan cable, others are the old CAT 5. Tomorrow maybe I go source one cat 7 cable and then test it out via lan.

So, problem like this only can be solve by tm technician right?
I'm just notice that my neighbour next to my house have a newly installed unifi which their cable comes from the same pole. Wonder will their technician brick mine during the installation...
