QUOTE(soonwai @ Jan 18 2019, 06:22 PM) As you already know, 100Mbps for RM129 is all TM has for now. I'm paying RM159 for 800Mbps. I think eventually they'll have plans for: 100Mbps RM99 500Mbps RM139 1000Mbps RM199 today my new bills show, i still pay RM99 + 6% for 500Mbps turbo for 2 months bills already RM99 since Nov the breakdown as below: Unifi RM239 - RM210 discount = RM19 Ultimate pack RM60 STD20 RM20

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jan 19 2019, 11:33 AM) This is another mystery for me. But mine is still iFlix VIP for now. Without paying anything, of course. WOW! so nice. My VIP ended 31 Dec 2018. This post has been edited by SzeMeng76: Jan 19 2019, 12:23 PM

QUOTE(muscaa @ Jan 19 2019, 09:37 AM) they are giving ultimate pack which is overlapping with ruby pack so it makes sense to take it off QUOTE(jhleo1 @ Jan 19 2019, 10:25 AM) Well RM10 offer to upgrade to Ultimate pack and remove Ruby pack by RM30 sound not logic and unfair to those who not take up RM10 upgrade offer. TM no sense at all. Actually RM10 upgrade gave Jumbo pack. My summary was wrong. Blame on my memory. Already corrected. That time no Ultimate pack yet. Jumbo + Ruby doesn't overlap entirely. However very soon after that TM came out with Ultimate pack which obviated the VAR packs. Forumers were quick to jump on that fact and, in early 2018, we were already discussing here whether it was possible to remove VAR and its RM30 charge. You special VIPP to unifi. Lol... I didn't use for more than a month if not mistaken. Usually auto renew every month. Just test it today morning and found out no VIP. Will try again later by removing some DNS settings. QUOTE(soonwai @ Jan 19 2019, 11:33 AM) This is another mystery to me. But mine is still iFlix VIP for now. Without paying anything, of course. QUOTE(OKLY @ Jan 19 2019, 09:15 AM) But I wonder why some people get the reduction after Ruby pack removed and some don’t? Different staff handled the modification of account? Dunnolah. I got my Ruby pack removed first so -RM30 (discount remain same.) Later when Turbo800 came I got additional RM30 discount but internet package increased from 299 to 329 so no nett effect was 0. Dunno how they work, there's RM129 for Turbo500 and now we have RM99 also for the same speed.

Due to these kind of offer/mistake to limited users, TM lost of those paid full by canceling unifi. No wonder TM nowadays can't make profit. QUOTE(soonwai @ Jan 19 2019, 12:16 PM) Dunnolah. anyone using Deco M5 with 300mbps? I turned off 2.4ghz and speedtest from my pc with AC1900 wifi adapter can only get 160mbdps download speed. Previously using Archer C1200 on 5ghz can get 250+mbps. is this a limitation of the deco m5 itself? anyways just curious as it solves my wifi deadspot problems and the speed is adequate but wanna get as close as possible to the speed im paying for

TM unifi is your best choice. since maxis also using TM fiber backbone. so i would say TM is more reliable then others. maxis alot customer complaint their reliability issue. alot disconnection issues. slow response to issues.

If your area has Time, go for it. Otherwise just hope for TNB fibre to reach your area then can choose from Astro or other provider.
