Have a question here, been a long time 100Mbps unifi user. Since they announced that existing user will have an upgrade (mine will be 800Mbps) but I still did not receives any updates. My question is does the turbo upgrade require binding to a 2 year contract? Do I have any other choices since I would prefer staying at 100Mbps speed.

Thanks

Nope. But, if you prefer to stay at 100Mbps, you will have to re-commit to a new contract for two years.

actually, i'm fine with that.

some years back, u get thrilled with 1gb stuff... and that takes hours to get.

now, go for nothing less than 20gb. tongue.gif

I was thinking of doing the same thing. But is there a rm200 fees to downgrade even the contract is over.

sorry for the late reply I was away for a day.

1) Router is DIR-850L, wired LAN. Cables are all Cat6(my Ugreen cat6 cables arrived today.).

2)I tested on both speedtest.net and TM speed test website, on mutiple browsers, without extensions and incognito mode, with browser hardware accleretaion on&off.

I have 3 desktops on Cat6. and all of them are getting the same 340Mbps D/L and 204Mbps U/L.
Yesterday I contacted TM live chat, she reset my port but problem is still there.

But I have another problem too, Only IP that starts with certain numbers gives me 340Mbps download speed. other IPs, barely reaching 200Mbps download.

So I contacted live chat again and now they're gonna send their technical team over because the problem MUST be on their side.

Did u try to do a speedtest using the app in safe mode with networking?

That shd help to confirm if it's ur setup.

Nope, if contract is over, there is no RM200 downgrade fee.

Torrent client? Qbittorrent? Set the connection to TCP only.

Your PC CPU model?
Windows 10 version? 1809, 1803 or 1790?

Yes I did, someone told me to do that few pages back. I even scanned for Microcode problem too. Also updated the LAN drivers on all 3 PCs.

2 of the PCs have decent Gigabit PCIe network cards.

I'm 99% sure that the problem is on their side.

Make sure that your LAN cable is "Cat 5E" or higher and not "Cat 5". Because Cat 5 cable only supports up to 100mbps.

QOS is disabled for your 850L?

300 - 350 Mbps down = means NAT acceleration is not working.
Make sure nothing is in the QOS boxes, save and reboot the router.
