QUOTE(d4rkpho3nix @ Jan 3 2019, 11:36 AM) So last night around 7pm I checked my unifi account and no Modify Order was seen, but all night I was experiencing really laggy internet. This morning internet was slightly better, but I didnt check my unifi account until now, and finally i've been turbo-ed to 800mbps last 3 days were lagging on certain sites, esp some China sites.

QUOTE(LalaluSan @ Jan 3 2019, 11:30 AM) You mean modem router? or just modem? Because i don't think the bottleneck is on the modem. for UniFi, modem and router is 2 diff units.

QUOTE(starlight @ Jan 3 2019, 08:37 PM) I've recently applied for unifi for the outdated plan 30mbps which will be turboboost to 300mbps in future. It cost rm139 per month . Today I called TM and enquired if they can turboboost me soon , and they said new user not in the turboboost plan. I wondered, that case why would I register rm139 instead of rm129 with 100mbps right. Yesterday, I read at FB that one agent offer 300Mbps at RM139 , he said lastest offer by TM. You might check that , I cant remember which agent; maybe you can simply pm any agent and ask.

QUOTE(Teddysaur @ Jan 4 2019, 05:05 PM) Does btu mean the modem only? Will they change the router to a newer one? BTU = Modem. Router if change by TM will be charged RM188 OR FREE if re-new contract for another 24 mths. Suggest you to get your own router (refer post #1).

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Jan 10 2019, 05:52 PM) What device are you using? TM came 20 min ago, and bring along new router DIR-842 and their notebook, test with their DIR-842 and can reach 300Mbps (few tests done : 298 to 322Mbps in range). Thus, they suspect is my RT-AC55UHP problem. cc : @ASUSMY
see my previous post below. you should try on your ac55uhp too. good luck! --------
I used to get 200-300Mbps too. But after update beta firmware I can get 500Mbps on wired. Even other users can reach 800Mbps on wired. AC55UHP or AC58U can use the Beta firmware here : https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/a/#...8A1EEFE35D1B98YI got the firmware from Asus forum mentioned previously by SilventVampire and Blacktubi. : >>> ASUS Malaysia Networking User & Technical Support, Managed by ASUS Malaysia Representative <<<
Thanks bro, I am going to test again and this time will be manually configure.

QUOTE(sohakyee @ Jan 14 2019, 04:22 PM) Does anyone know what kind of router does unifi offer for RM188 after the unifi being turbo-ed to 500mbps? The prices for 500mbps router start from RM300++ like archer C1200, is unifi offering rm188 for archer C1200? TM router at RM188 currently is DIR-842.

QUOTE(SzeMeng76 @ Jan 16 2019, 04:51 PM) Find third party forwarding agent. They have normal air shipping & sensitive air shipping (which normally for electronic items, or any sensitive item will be prohibited upon custom clearance) Btw OT already ya. You can google it. or refer this : http://hxil.pw/content/?id=1005 (my always use forwarding agent) this is helpful, thanks

QUOTE(starlight @ Jan 18 2019, 12:38 AM) I've just registered unifi. I registered rm138 plan 30mbps obsolete plan. Said pending turboboost. After subscribe told me I'm not eligible. Might as well register rm129 100mbps. And then now why my bill rm199.65???? What are these scams Login Unifi portal to check bill details and from there you will know OR maybe the bill sent to you via email.
