I lodged MCMC and CFM report on the same day, only CFM has responded, but they pass me back to MCMC. I told them I did lodged a report with MCMC, then they promise will come back to me. But until I got my turbo, no news about the come back at all...

I guess as a TM consumer, we have no choice but to bug them everyday, which I did after I feel that MCMC & CFM have not really taken any action...

Well, I learn the hard way. Few of my earlier report was closed as I didn't put my request clear enough. Then I demand a proper call from them, again report was close. Reason given was email has been send to me with explanation in it. Which I totally didn't receive at all, nor TM can prove they really did email to me.

So I lodge more report and demand a CALL from respective department. Report still being closed, but this time got receive email with scripted reply, pilot phase, selected user bla bla bla...

The last round, I lodge report with MCMC, and CFM. Next day walk into TM Point to demand sign a retention letter, but CS over there offered to send email directly to turbo department to expedite my upgrade. Back home and create a report from live chat. Then keep on following up with live chat everyday...

Though I feel like is not as aggressive as Mr Mike~ tongue.gif

Well, I guess they screw up their own system. Don't simply announce to the public when you are not ready/certain about the details.

Look at TIME, I really envy those who stay within their coverage. Always offer the most reasonable price, and the way they implement their upgrades...

Back to TM, being the largest ISP in Malaysia, yet when ask when can get what they promised, only entertain consumers with scripted reply. But when come to monthly payment, they magically know what will happen if one delay the payment...

TM, is time to wake up!!!

Mine is TM call me to inform my account has been turbo. Then few days later only I receive the SMS, and another few days only receive the confirmed turbo email from TM.

In case anyone interested with Asus latest RT-AX88U router, I ask from their FB and they reply that this model will arrive in Malaysia around mid of December, price is TBC~

Have been thinking to change my parent unifi plan ever since the price was reduce. But afraid of suddenly another price reduction again, then it will be fool being lock under contract again...

My parent's account is contract free for few years ady, and basically their unifi is for 3rd party iptv and some fb, youtube, wechat, whatsapp only...

Yeah, report need to be made, but taking a trip or even fews to TM Point is needed to be done in order to get things in order...

From my experience, try speak with those customer service rather than those that you need to take a number and wait for 1-2 hrs... They might me able to help you to send email to the sales/turbo department to expedite your turbo upgrade...

At least this is how I get mine done...

Guys, need some help here.

My parent house totally cannot detect the wifi after yesterday heavy rain and lightning. Live chat with Unifi, the account is active.

So can someone tell me whether is the BTU or router is not functioning properly base on the photos?

Thanks for the reply.

I've switch off few times, but still unable to detect the wifi at all. Then only I live chat with Unifi, cause I afraid my parent's account has overdue or inactive. But come to think of it, it is not so possible for inactive account unable to detect own wifi right?

CS even reset the port for me since they say there is no session (no internet record) from my side.

Cause I never pay attention to this router, if you notice the wifi LED indicator is not light up. Could it be possible that got strike by lightning and cause just the wifi malfunction?

Too bad I didn't bring along my laptop. My parent is using desktop at their house. I wanted to reset the router, but I didn't have my parent unifi username and password. So don't wanna take the risk...

My parent never mess with any setting since the 1st day using Unifi. My mum told me they are unable to use the internet after the heavy rain/lightning happened.

I was thinking, if the router was struck with lightning, shouldn't it totally not able to power up? Now the BTU and router still able to switch on. Only the issue is the wifi LED is not lit up.

Apparently the Dlink DIR615 was factory reset by itself. Not sure how does this happen.

So today I went back to my parent house with my laptop, login into the router setting and enable the wifi. But still no internet connection. And I have to live chat again with Unifi, found out that the router setting was reset back to default setting.

Request a password reset and surprisingly the sms arrive almost immediately after the CS reset the password for me. Key in the username and password, voila the internet is back online again~

Thank you for those who have putting in suggestion....
