For you potato chips fans out there here comes good news. I recently bought a packet of imported potato chips from 99 speedmart and i think it's kinda nice. Price wise a lot cheaper than those high-end potato chips sold at cold storage or jaya grocer, think about half the price but double in quantity. For almost rm4 a packet you get 100g of chips. Taste wise, it's pretty much like kettle style chips with skin-on and thick cut. Unlike mister potato chips which are thin and crispy, these chips are crunchy and you can actually see the earthy unpeeled skin. The only drawback is that 99 speedmart only sells a single flavor, salt & vinegar. For those of you who dislike tangy stuffs, this might be a real turn off. I do hope 99 can carry more flavors as i noticed there are tons of flavors displayed on the manufacturer's website. Btw it's a Finnish brand, so expect to finish fast in one go. Just sharing ok, happy munching!

QUOTE(Icehart @ Nov 3 2018, 03:09 PM) They also recently brought in Nachos Doritos. RM 10.99. So nice. But recently they stopped restocking. Haihz Maybe snacks that always remained on the shelves are the ones people frequent buying. Or it could be people are buying the cheaper versions like chachos and mission tortilla chips. Though i've seen Doritos sold at jaya grocer as well. Yes it's really nice, the boldness of these nachos chips is best matched with homemade guacamole, salsa or simply just mozzarella.
