Hi! Anyone encounter that your air cond not cold when your engine is idle eg, not moving. But when moving aircond is back to normal again?

the led source lamp vs halogen

led lacks the halogen in terms of luminous flux per volumetric size, meaning that for the led to produce the amount of lumens a standard halogen, needs to be larger.
the halogen is considered a 'point' source lamp, meaning that the lumens originate from a small point while the led is considered a 'wide' source lamp, almost a flood lamp.
thus the led lamps are larger compared to halogens.

reflector designed be it for symmetrical or asymmetrical for halogens are very specifically calculated for a certain light source.
these calculations for the reflector are to function as asymmetrical and focused on the road as opposed to the high beam that is focused high.
altho the main reasons for the main beam is to focus the illumination on the road, it has the added benefit of not causing glare to oncoming traffic.

since we are talking abt a original halogen source, lets start from there...
since led are larger than a halogen source, it emits light away from the calculated source designed into the reflector.
this is the same effect when using xenon lamps where the lamp is longer than the halogen and thus away from the point calculated into the design of the reflector.

the resulting retrofit is as u see on cars that seem to have their high beams on while using the main beams and this is what is termed as glare.

furthermore, led run hot and need good cooling systems or else they fail very quickly cos of the circuit board cant take the heat emitted from the led that is attached to the board.. causing meltdowns..
halogens were made to run hot... so no problems there.

good light fittings meant for led have very robust cooling fins for the fittings to achieve atleast 900 lumens, ie, a 50w12v halogen lamp's output..
retrofit led lamps have only half that at best cos the lamps do not come with cooling fins to fit into an existing enclosure/reflector and lamp holder (2 pin) and can hope to have any form of longevity.

thus is the current landscape of the led retrofit market today.

Hi All, may i know if there is any aftermarket absorber that is more comfort than current stock absorber? Currently whenever i passby the yellow line on the road, my ride feel quite harsh.

Done that, already reduce down to 32 psi. Still feel harsh.
Even my other car with low profile tyre still comfort than my bezza when pass thru yellow line.

guys, when did you service your aircond. There are major and minor service. Mine 60k km now…and need to put fan at #3 to feel cold. Some say wait until 100k km?

Is anyone getting 36 liters of fuel tank or close to it?

Perodua specs page says 36 liters but pump from low tank to full tank is only ~25 liters, already drive to 1 bar (range 36 km left).
avg 15.3km/l in the display so I guess still have 3~4 liters in tank. I have 7~8 liters missing?

Now that you mention it, the fuel pump light (low fuel) never lights up since I owned this car. Even when you start the car, most lights on dashboard will turn on for a few seconds but low fuel light never turn on.

I wonder if the fuel bar meter + range not accurate on my car or low fuel sensor/light got problem.

This morning I went to few places, so had the chance to try it and for my case it sometimes works when engine off, sometimes don't work when engine off. Very weird... but if it doesn't suck battery I don't worry about it...

Just update now in June. Some rattling sounds already. On both front side doors. It’ll stop if I tightly pegang².

But major one is from the behind, left side. Sounds exactly like ancient dugong (which I know has suspension issue but no money to replace and car rarely used nowadays). I think not rattling but more like clunk clunk sound. Haissh.
