Does you guys car has a Yiiii sound , like airplane engine revving etc.

it occur on 60km/h very very minor sound
then at about 80-95km/h range it was obvious.

wondering only me or every unit was same , i do heard some say got similar sound but not everyone , maybe i should tell this to perodua? or it was normal for this 1.3 .

Noise most likely caused by faulty gear cable or to a lesser extent, gearbox related issues such as the bearings.

It will gone once throttle release

This whistling noise is audible after hitting around 60 kph n is continuous. Affects quite a number of bezza. It is a known issue and the service center service technicians described it as "bunyi siul". They have located the source and confirmed it to be caused by a faulty "CABLE ASSY, TRANSMISSION CONTROL" part number 33820-BZ300.

Big thanks

How about aircond whistling sound , I know other have it too.

If this 2 was solve , the car was perfect in term of build quality

Previously have suspension sound , they solved.
*
The aircond whisling sound is faint relative to that emanating from the faulty transmission cable. However, it is conspicuous to drivers of the ADV (full spec) variant once the i-stop kicks in during which the engine shuts down. I think most drivers facing this minor noise can afford to tolerate it.

Bezza + pb combo make the car responsive and fun to drive especially in the city and short distance highways.

My aircond sound normally after I off the aircond , like releasing gas or sometime during using like overfill gas.

Anyhow it was not normal at all

I don't mind the sound but we paid the price for sure want a good product , I don't know when the leak will become too serious and aircond spoiled.

Will the transmission cable cause damage to the car? But cable produce noise was weird and I don't understand how it work. As what I understand cable was just a line and should not produce any mechanical noise.

Pb? Responsive........ engine was good , but throttle response was weak.

I don't think bezza was fun to drive , especially for driver , the steering ,seat, handling , crosswind , noise from wind and tyre, etc.... when becoming a passenger it was quite good.
One thing , it was economical to run was true.

I found my car more powerful after more highway running and FC improved , due to recent grab incentive I don't take short trip d , thus more highway.

Ur aircond seriously need to go for an inspection. Find a SC with experienced and knowledgeable technicians.
Nuff said about the transmission cable. Suggest u to make an appointment with ur service center to get the cable replaced. Prepare to wait for 2 weeks for the part to arrive. Its foc btw. Pls dun ask me to explain the technical aspect of the fault. As mentioned earlier, its a known issue.
Pb serves to remap the signal to the throttle resulting in a more responsive, spirited n pleasurable drive. Try it, I'm sure u will like it.

On the bad handling and stability issue
I have driven the 2 bezza auto variants, i.e., ADVANCE n Premium X countless times over long distances and at various speeds and opine that the vehicle stability of:
- the PREMIUM X is highly susceptible to crosswind when the car reaches a mere speed of just 90 kph. At this speed the car begins to sway from left to right and vice versa on its own even if the steering wheel is held firmly. For comparison, a stock Axia G with no electronic control assist and no stability bars installed can travel up to 140 kph without being affected by crosswind.
- the PREMIUM X (this time with ARB + FSB installed) is LESS susceptible to crosswind at speed of under 140 kph, Above that, it begins to sway.
- the PREMIUM X (this time with ARB + FSB + Bi Spring installed + 15" Alza rim) is almost not affected by crosswind even if the car is driven up to its maximum speed of around 170 kph. (some claim that max speed of bezza is a whopping 190 kph). Notice that the braking power of bezza X is not strong, advise drivers to keep the max speed under 140 kph.
- the ADVANCE (totally stock) is surprisingly VERY good. Crosswind effect is almost negligible even at max speed. The electronic VSC and traction control certainly have played a vital role in keeping the car in a straight line despite attempt by crosswind trying to unsettle it.
So is it worth to spend 6K more for an ADVANCE variant? My answer is a thumping YES. If u r driving Premium X, advise u to at least install ARB + FSB for a start.

Ok ,thanks alot  thumbsup.gif

Yes , mine was premium x

modding car was not time yet for me , the car was just 1year+ , maybe after 5years like the car feel old enough then will start to mod , also need to keep warranty for atleast 3 years , after that warranty part are not much d...

but to spend a 51k on a A segment car was totally overpriced , even this premium x already overpriced , when compare to proton car.
( kia picanto a A segment imported car which was a very good overall car sell less than that. except space )

So now i know ESC does help in crosswind , adv version also has a rear anti roll bar stock , not sure does that affect also.

PB = pedal box ( remap throttle response by giving more fuel , fc will increase )
ARB = ?
FSB = ?
Bi Spring = ?
How much above total cost?
*
ARB = UR anti roll bar 16mm (u already quoted it)
FSB = front strut bar
Both items cost around 600+

ARB is not a standard accessory in the ADVANCE variant
but
ARB is a standard accessory in the new Myvi 1.5. However, its diameter is a puny 12 mm measured on a caliper.

Try to google bi spring. Easily done. Cost 380/pr inclusive of installation

All the items r just plug n play. No mod required.

Bro , so just let them checked and they admit the sound was there , but what they tell me was " it was normal " , so end of story la haha what else can i say , unless i more pro and more acknowledge than the foreman there? haha

they say the sound was from gearbox and it was normal , not from any cable whatever .

any suggest what can i do? at first they tell me no one report this before zzzzz then ask me got change amp or anything or not.

well , i do want to tell them the second problem which was aircond whistle , the advicer just ignore me on that topic .

can i know which SC know exactly this problem?
*
Which SC was that?

Just checked the blower fan , nothing inside , cabin filter do have 1 - 2 thing from outside tree. Without cabin filter , it will drop to the blower fan. Easy to check for bezza.

Those who has the same problem Yeee at 90km/h please see if the noise is the same as mine.

most obvious at 90km/h

As mentioned some time ago, that whistling sound is most likely caused by the faulty transmission assembly cable. Still hesitant to get it checked or claimed? Go to a bigger SC with body & paint works. Part number is 33820-BZ300 for Bezza.
