4 months ago at SC, was advised battery not good: MEASURED: 228CCA, RATING 260CCA. But car still can start, hence no change battery.

Yesterday at SC, was advised battery not good again: MEASURED:157CCA, RATING: 260CCA. Yet I still choose not to change the battery. Perhaps wait till its last breath.. LOL.

What you guys think? To change or not change? Battery was stock since Oct2017.

Also wonder why VOLTS reading is different.

Get yourself a multimeter. Set it at 20V.

Then self check every month.

First let headlamps (engine off) on for about 2 minutes. Then check battery. If reads 12.5v above. Battery still good.

Then somehow monitor multimeter when u crank the engine on, if during that time voltage 10v above, battery still good.

Then once engine on, turn all all auxillary equipments (headlight, radio, aircon etc.). If multimeter reading more than 13.8v, your alternator and battery good.

A digital one will suffice. I bought mine off Lazada (no brand) based of positive reviews. About rm20+. Works fine.
